Shallow? Things to do in taverns and such. Also, NPC routines. Not looking forward to harvesting areas—if I grind them to depletion, I'll feel bad. And if I don't, the things I left behind will haunt my dreams. ))

The most shallow things I'll enjoy:
- the flashy combat animations (though I know some will hate it): smashing things, stabbing things...blowing things up
- Iron Bull, Sera, and Doran being on TeamYOLO.

Finding armour/robes and dressing up in them.
I always had my previous Hawkes (it wasn't really possibly with the Warden) have a specific style they liked and stuck to that. Especially with mages.
I'm glad I can customise my companions' appearances now, and that I can hang onto my favourite armour/robes' appearances without having to keep the poor stats.
Vivienne would approve, I'm sure.

Hmmm not sure if this counts as shallow. But I look forward to just take a walk and exploring stuff.

The more shallow thing I'd like is being able to have some sort of creepy museum in Skyhold.
Sort of like my own personal Black Emporium , also being able to stand in the middle of the room and go "mouhahhaha ,mouhahha , MOUHAHAHA."
And then of course go out , trying to save orphans , annoying Dalish , peasants , also nugs.
Give all my hard earned gold to the Inquisition so my soldiers can have good armors while my mage will look like crap...
Just one museum of Doom , where I can roleplay a crazy evilz Inquisitor for a few minutes between saving the world.

Not looking forward to every female character having a shaved head or short hair.

I have a few minor and shallow things that I want.
I want to know if, with the upgrade options on gear, can I choose to always use a battleaxe instead of a greatsword?
I also want an epilogue slide of some sort where if my Inquisitor doesn't romance Cullen, and I imported a female mage warden Amell who didn't romance anyone, that they somehow get together eventually because come on it has been three games.

*ashamed* Female hip sway...I know, I know, DA2 and DAI both are over the top and make them look like they're dislocating their hips...but I find myself not minding the least when exploring a world for hours on end. ![]()
I'm going to love all the female characters for who they are, like in all Bioware games, and all that...but still. ![]()

While I'd like to see something more realistic, I'd much prefer seeing a return of DA2 style strutting than female characters running around or sitting like dudes. (I'm looking at you Fem Shep)

Shallow? ... Spending way too much time trying to get a character I can stand looking at for the entire game in the CC only to load up the initial part of the game and realize that I really don't like her after all ... so I quit and start all over again ... numerous times before finding something I like.

Hopefully, if there's an Orlesian ball we'll be able to choose our attire. My pc would sport a pair of baby seal skin leather gloves, a leopard print fedora with a peacock's feather, a matching leopard skin slashed doublet with paned sleeves whose laced collar and cuffs are fashioned from unicorn eyelashes. Matching leopard skin breeches over zebra print hose. A pair of plain silk socks with dragon scale bucket top boots complete with silverite swan neck shaped rowelled spurs, and a white steel pocket watch with gold hands that's crafted by the legendary mastersmith Wade.
There's also a monocle with a frame that's fashioned from a gryphon's beak along with a matching gryphon feathered cloak that's been handed down to the head of the family since before the species' extinction. And last but not least a 3ft dragon bone gold tipped cane with a curved golden handle in the shape of twin Andrastes entwined in orgasmic embrace.
A man can only dream. *sigh*

If we're just talking on a purely shallow level, I am looking forward to Varric's nicknames for the companions. What I'm not looking forward to: Possibly having hair not go past my character"s shoulders. Again. ![]()
