if only people would wise up PC's are worlds better plus you don't need to pay money to play online
What? WOW and all those other MMOs. All you do is pay 2 play online .
What's the problem consoles have all games. Console exclusive, GTA5 not even released on PC when previous games are, Watch dogs graphics downgraded so console peasants don't feel bad(You started joke)
I've never played a GTA game before. What do I care what they've done with the latest entry? Though, to be fair that is BS to suddenly go exclusive after being cross-platform for 4 games. It is still coming to PC though, right? Only later? Still BS, though.
I like the ease of access of consoles in knowing that, if the game is for my console, I have the required specs and not having to figure out all the extra stuff and apparently build my own computer (according to most PC gamers that I talk to). Whatever, I don't understand why this is such a big deal. You can't enjoy a game unless it's on the cutting edge of all technology? Give me a break. Try to just have fun, we are just gaming after all.

Don't waste anymore of your time on this guy. Total troll thread from the start.
Weak consoles? Are u high?? Everything you've said is total BS.
They are weak. The iGPUs are basically cut down versions of the HD 7870 and HD 7850, both mid-range desktop GPUs.

your the one trolling or your gullible to belive xbox one and ps4 are just as powerfull as PC

You both are ignorant and clearly a waste of words & and of my time.
And I'm just gonna report you both and this thread . Night ,night all. ![]()
Allow me to say, PCs are more powerful than consoles, consoles are not more important than PCs, and we should all just enjoy the games that come out on whatever system we purchase for whatever reasons we purchased it, and not worry about whether a game is also available to some other gamers on other systems.
I just hear this as "why should these other people get the same game I like on their systems, too? The developers should spend more time on making the game perfect for ME and MY system". Forgive me for thinking this, but it just sounds selfish, imo. I can't know the full extent of your reasonings, but that's just how it sounds to me every time I hear these arguments for taking away another system's version of a game.

Lol are you 12? People are telling you exactly why you're wrong, with no aggression yet you insist on being aggressive and insist that we're wrong without any support to back it up....yea and we're the ignorant ones
Nothing has changed in all the years consoles vs PC has been going on.
Consoles: Uniform Preformance, same hardware over 6 years, less expensive
PC: Better Preformance, needs upgrading every few years, more expensive
Eh, not really. A console is just a PC. As long as you already have a PC upgrading to something equivalent to next gen should be cheaper.

Can you leave already, please?
Short answer: no.
Long Answer: no. Plenty of PC exclusive games don't make the most of the bleeding edge of PC tech. What holds PC gaming back is a developer's individual willingness to make the most out of the hardware, while not alienating lower-end PC owners. And yes, there are a lot of Low-End PC owners. Scaleability only gets you so far, if you make a game that looks and runs like ass for 50% of those who don't have the power to bring it up to a playable standard... Well, we need only look at Crytek and the Crysis games. Games only recognized for their benchmarking ability, and not for the gameplay. How laughable is that?
This "Consoles hold PC back" argument is one derived entirely from a fallacy. The burden of proof fallacy to be specific, PC gamers tend to shift blame onto the console crowd by saying "Prove console doesn't hold PC back" which can never be asserted since it's asking to disprove a negative. Console gamers would only ever be able to disprove individual instances, never the entire premise.

Well just remove your finger from your ears. Because what we hear.

Crysis is probably one of the best shooters out there.
FPSs aren't known for their incredible gameplay, they're just point and shoot.
at least Crysis is creative about it.
This "Consoles hold PC back" argument is one derived entirely from a fallacy.
It's true, though.
Because of Consoles, PCs get poorly optimised games or games that are way better on consoles- such as FIFA.
Technically, console is better in price/value, don't have to upgrade for many years. PC has to upgrade bit more often to keep up with some games except the recent years hardware can live a little longer than usual. $700 pc is more expensive than a $400 console. Upgrading pc's does cost more to keep up. Gaming graphic wise would be tons better than viewed on a console after the console is made a year later. For every year, GPUs upgrade twice relatively. I switched from pc to console cause of Mass Effect was to be console only at the time.
Shelved pc's are actually worse than a console for this one reason. If its store bought from Wal-Mart or such and not made to your specification. Power Supplies are installed into those machines with less watt coverage than the system calls for. At least was the case up to 2010, and I don't see it changing, This gives companies more money by repair or replacements. Made to order and self built are normally outside of that window and are fine and will be fine. I know the watt coverage's cause the information was given to me in college classes during power supply chapters.
*shakes fist at screen*
Mind I said shelved pc, made to order pc or self built will be better than any due to a proper watt power supply to be installed.
Console vs PC is funny to argue isn't it? Im not siding with either in a debate on here.
80% of all PC-gamers
Have to use it one more time

Crysis merely built on what Far Cry did before it, and put you in a nanosuit. Hardly anything that interesting. It certainly was the stand-out of the series though, and to Far Cry's credit, it was something special.
I could extrapolate this a bit to that Crysis was PC exclusive, and Crysis 2-3 sucked but weren't, therefore consoles hold PC back right? But I personally think Crytek just took their position for granted, and when you have the Crytek President speaking lunacy like 'Graphics are 60% of the game experience" it just spits in the face of everyone who ever had an original idea in the field. I've always been of the mind that graphics exist to serve the art, and absolutely nothing else. It's why I find the Unity driven game "Enemy Starfighter" ten times more appealing than the CryEngine driven "Star Citizen".
But I guess I can only close in taking the cop-out middle ground of "Consoles only hold PC back if Developers let consoles hold them back", hardly a statement people can raise their pitchforks to.
Hell, I might even be able to say that Consoles are good for PC even if they hold it back, because most, perhaps all of the advantages you get with PC hardware is translated into graphical fidelity. (UI advantages, mod-ability and overall flexibility aside) But limitations can be creative inspiration. Look at Borderlands, which at one time was headed towards "Gritty real-brown shooteyboom" territory, but then the move to cell-shaded, sparked in part because the Xbox360 just couldn't meet their photorealsim demands, created a game that was infinitely more memorable.
This nebulous concept of "What could the PC do without consoles" is just something I don't find particularly interesting. It's built on a lot of coulda, shoulda and woulda.
I'd like to think that they'll take advantage of the PC platform's technical capabilities. PC's are much more flexible than consoles in regards to hardware and budget IMO and are, in the long run - the better choice because you can upgrade them at your leisure. The PS3 and 360 versions will obviously be noticeably different from the "next gen" consoles and PC versions of the game. They're what, 8 years old now? The PC version should undoubtedly look and run the best, otherwise I'll be disappointed.
I've never played a Bioware game on a console. I have a PS3, 360 and a Wii that I never touch but my main gaming platform is the PC.
Oh yes, I heard playing on consoles makes you less fat than playing on the PC.
Wait, no.

I like consoles, i dont play or own one but i like them
Why? well i prefer playing on my pc but i dont have the money for top end pc so the consoles allow for me to upgrade my pc at a relatively nice pace that allows for me to play games at a relatively good setting.
My brother though is buying me a old xbox 360, just because i want to go back an play some games i missed cause they were console exclusive like halo/dragons dogma etc.
For me the question is, if you know the new gen specs why in hell buy or build a computer that has 5 to 10 times the specs of it then ****** and moan about games not taking full advantage of your pc specs? i dont know, but isnt it pretty obvious game developers will develop first for the biggest market which is console
As for the actual console specs themselves, why should the developers of them put hardware in them that could potentially out price a huuuuuuge portion of there base, all you need do is look at the portion moaning about the current price, imagine if they put top end specs in it, my god they would prob alienate the majority
