Cassandra, so I can stare creepily at her perfect face. Sera because she seems hilarious. Dorian because everyone needs more fun gay men in their lives. Iron Bull because dat beefcake. Blackwall because dat beard.
Companions you're most looking forward to adventuring with

Cassandra is probably going to be a permanent fixture in my party in my first playthrough, the rest will depends on plot-relation and if they cause Cassandra to destroy everything in a 2 miles radius.

Yeah, I wanted adventure with everyone a little but the ones I'm looking forward the most? Cassandra, Sera, Vivienne, Varric and the Iron Bull.

Vivienne, Cole, and Dorian. Solas may replace Dorian if he has a particularly interesting character blurb. I imagine I'll be rotating my party fairly constantly, however. Blackwall is the only character I have no interest in. But he may surprise me in-game.

Super ****** excited for Cole, he's one of my favorite characters of the series.... I have hopes for Sera being interesting as well. Varric and Cass I already know I like, so im excited for them as well. My enthusiasm for the others is about 1/100...

Solas. I can pretty much guess how everyone else is going to be, but Solas is the biggest mystery to me.

I'm interested in all of them as per usual, but right now I'm most interested in.... bum bum bum... the advisors, actually.
Scribbles and Leliana, and then Sera.
Scribbles: I like her bookishness combined with what looks like artistic flair. And then she also seems the calculating political one, with some understated wit maybe? Yum.
Leliana: I've always liked her, but I'm just intrigued with what she's gotten herself up to.
Sera: She seems like the DA character most like me in the franchise so far (except that she's female and lesbian, and isn't fond of her hair apparently
), so I'm interested in learning more about her. There aren't many characters I really relate to personality wise, but who knows. It'll be fun to find out.
Vivianne: If she has some mystery to her, I like that. We'll see what it leads to.
The rest I don't know or I like, but we'll see. Hopefully Varric is there to help me find the HoF and Hawke.
Iron Bull, Blackwall, Solas, and Cole are interesting right now.
Morrigan's always been my favorite, but she's not one of the 12. I'm really interested in seeing what she's up to.
The other three are on the bottom of my list right now, I guess.

Can't wait to play with IB, Cole, and Blackwall. Dorian and Solas might be fun as well. Sadly I have not found any of the female characters compelling.

Like cindercatz I am more interested in the advisors right now and in Morrigan. I am looking forward to meet Leliana and Cullen and I am curious about Scribbles.
As for the companion, Cassandra and Varric will probably be the first ones in my party (eventually they will all be in my party but you've got to start somewhere
). Will be interesting to see how Cassandra and Varric get along.
Another idea I had was to make a mage focused party with the Inquisitor as a mage and with Vivienne, Dorian and Blackwall in the party. (Blackwall for the sake of balance).

Iron Bull, Dorian, Vivienne and Solas so far.
Iron Bull really fascinates me considering that the Qun is a part of his life, even if its nominal, yet he's different from other Qunari. In Origins, Sten was pretty elusive and hard-set into the Qun while in DA2, the Qunari were portrayed as one of the big-bads. With Inquisition, I hope Iron Bull can offer another perspective. Plus I want to see just what happens when the Inquisitor 'tries to romance him'.
Dorian interests me simply because I can relate to him and I'm going to love to see his romance arc (if he does have one). Tevinter, like the Qunari, have been a sort of sinister big-bad, and to me Dorian is going to offer another perspective, perhaps a more human side to the Imperium. Plus I really, really find Tevinter fascinating (actually, any place that isn't Ferelden is interesting).
Vivienne piqued my interest from her initial reveal. The outlandish clothes, the haughty attitude, plus her background as a noble enchanter to the Empress, it will definitely be interesting. I want to see this party she throws for the Inquisitor and her jibes at every other character. That letter Mary Kirby (I believe it was) wrote in Vivienne's perspective has me dying to know pretty much what she has to say about everyone and everything. I want her take on Morrigan, on Varric, the Inquisitor, and if she is indeed romanceable (fingers crossed), I want to see her softer side if she has one. Every Bioware game has its ice queen, and every ice queen in a Bioware game has melted. I think Vivienne's going to be the one tugging on the heart strings after her softer side is shown.
Solas simply because he's the only character thus far with no profile, no interview, no information. Given his expertise on the Fade and likelihood that he's Dalish, I want to see how he fits into everything.
