Cole will be in my party when the story calls for it, but Dorian all the way. The obsessive part of me wishes they'd waited until Solas was revealed before doing another one of these, are they just going to reveal him and make a facebook post saying "Who will be in your party - Solas or..... Solas?"
But I am also going to be deploying Team YOLO.
Dragon Age asks... "Who will be in your party - Dorian or Cole?"

Dorian. I can`t stand Cole at all. That doesn`t mean I think he isn`t a good character, though. He is an excelent character. He just annoys me to no end.

I don't knooooow! Darn it, I can't choose. In all honesty, my first time through the game the characters that make me laugh the most are usually the ones my PC frequently travels with so poor Cole might get left behind. Unless he seems particularly suitable for a quest.

He seems like a really interesting character and someone my inquisitor could easily get along with. Cole is interesting, but too creepy for me to want to hang out with.

NPC3 - Other (Probably Warrior, maybe Rogue, possibly Mage)

If I HAD to choose, I guess Cole. Partially because I'm not sure if Dorian will be my LI, and partially because I need a Rogue - and Sera and Varric don't seem as interesting to me so far.

Depends on how balanced my party needs to be I am excited to learn more about Tevinter and Dorian's character sounds fun but I love Cole. Right now Cole wins but barring no ending fail like ME3 I intend playing multiple times the only staple of my first party as of now is Varric

Right now, Dorian wins by a landslide! However, Cole is not being ignored, and still has fans. Both seem to be highly appealing yet also highly unappealing to many players. The divisive characters, for sure.

As someone who has read the book, I know Cole so much more so I'd pick him over Dorian who I know little to nothing about.

Cole is a permanent spot in my party, but I like all the companions. So I'll be cycling everyone else around consistently and keep him in. ^^

Besides, I'm one of those people that wants to give Cole a hug just because he needs one really bad. I felt bad for him in Asunder.

Dorian. At least out of those two for my first playthrough. My first playthrough is always as a warrior and I'm already torn between Varric and Sera for my rogue. Generally my go to party is a mage, a rogue, a warrior and my PC, unless my PC is a mage in which case I don't take a mage companion but an extra warrior or rogue. So yeah, first playthrough it'll be Dorian, or Solas, or Vivienne.

Dorian. I know it's shallow of me, but I find Cole's hair really annoying. I'd spend the whole time fretting about sorting out that fringe.
