I'd probably be an Antivan Elf mainly because of my RL accent and my stature.

Personality:

Nerdy Librarian with a passion everything fade-related,dragon-related,magic-related and most importantly Elven-related.Polite but distant at first but easy to irritate and slightly awkward at times.Serious when I must be but more relaxed around friends.Easily becomes fascinated with something but looses interest as easily.

Loyal to my moral code and ideals, but open minded and flexible.

I'd say I'd either be a mage who specializes in elemental magic or a rogue archer...

Complaints and Quirks:

Quiet,Ambitious,Know-it all,awkward,eats other people's cookies food...

Relationships

Varric:Best buddies because we both love good stories and hyperbole.

Sera:We'll get along well despite being polar opposites because we have the same opinions about the world and care about the people caught in the middle.

Dorian:We'll have our arguments every now and then at times but our rebellious high-five moments will prevail.

Cassandra: Mutual respect and a secret girl-crush from my part.

Blackwall:I'll respect him and go on about how he reminds me of my dad.

Cole:I will adopt him as my spirt-little brother,we'll build the most beautiful snowmen Thedas will ever see.

Leliana: We're going to have some interesting duets, that's for certain.

Cullen:Knowing myself I'll probably end up with a huge crush on him, running away stuttering...Oh wait!

Iron Bull: At first he'll scare the hell out of me,but he'll eventually become my drinking buddy.

Scribbles:She's the type of person I want to hug without even knowing her.

Solas:A fade nerd and a fade expert, that will be interesting.

Male Human Mage, Knight Enchanter specialization.

I would be joking around most of the time, but oddly introspective and quiet when you least expect it. Despite seeming carefree, I would have a deep-seated need to help people in trouble.

People's biggest complaint about me would be how my character got in their face when they made decisions that could be called un-heroic or pragmatic. Also, my nose is too big.

If you were a new DAI companion what would you be like?

On one side I would the motherly (but not old like wynne, I would most likely in my early to mid 30s) one of the group, always making sure everyone is eating and sleeping alright and I would with out a doubt be the camp cook. I would be kind, compassionate and forgiving. On the other side I would have a fierce temper, especially when someone i care about is threatened. I would always be ready for a battle and would strive to be the one in the front, diving in daggers first into any fight weather it be darkspawn or some stuck up noble and especially when its a blood mage. Oh and if we are facing a high dragon I will always be heard saying "ME FIRST" lol  So basically I would be a total nut case lol

I wouldn't understand any religion especially the dwarven religion or there way of thinking about being from the stone and praying to dead people, and wouldn't care for the humans religion even more. I wouldn't speak against it but I wouldn't be for it either. When asked about it I would simply shrug and reply "meh don't care".

When it comes to mages vs templar, I would think that they are both daft and need to just chill out and come up with a comprise instead of killing each other and terrorizing the country side. If neither side is willing to compromise or come up with some plan to where everyone wins, then I would say put both sides down. Burn everything down and rebuild.

I would most likely get along with varric, cole, dorian, IB, leliana and maybe blackwall.

What would your race and class be?

I would be a casteless dwarf that became a surfacer that kept her casteless tattoo. I would be a rogue with daggers.

Most importantly what do you think the biggest complaint about your character would be by the players?

Most like my inability not to add my 2 cents and I would be a bit annoying with my motherliness. Also even not being the leader, I would want to be in front when we charge into battle, as well as wanting to help make the battle plan.

This looks like fun ego stroking :P

Who will you be:
Female elf mage with a serious superiority complex mixed with a great deal of self-awareness. For purely shallow reasons: Because im a girl that likes elves and magic.

What will you be like:
I will constantly get in trouble with the authorities, most of the time on purpose just to see their reaction. I will get drunk frequently and dance on the tables, flirt with everyone and fail miserably because the attempts will be so pathetically clumsy. And then i will feel embarrassed and sit in the corner for a week. I will say something only i will consider funny and laugh at my own joke while people stare at me as though im mad. And i will just dismiss them because obviously they know nothing of good humor.
However i will be loyal to the point of obsession and will do stupid crazy things for people i care about, which will probably earn me reprimands from characters like Wynne.

Biggest complaint: my attitude - unbearable, know-it-all and spiced with a heavy doze of sarcasm. I will give everyone my opinion on their actions, experiences and their life in general. Most of the time I will be wrong, however if i will happen to be right i will rub it in the face of the one who doubted me for a month. :P

I'd be a reaver. But adhere to lore. I'd have drunk blodd, and be maddened by it. Completely disregarding my own wounds and get thrills only out of bloody battles. Needless to say, I'd be evil. I'd be... human.

Male Elven Mage, cunning and helpful. A devout believer in the Maker, and a Blood Mage. Willing to manipulate those around me to achieve a homeland for my people.

The greatest complaint would probably be, either the faith in the Maker and the goodness in the hearts of all men(everybody), my views on Blood Magic as a tool like any other, or my general distaste towards the Dalish way of life.

I'd probably be a prissy male elfin mage trapped in the safety of some Fereldan Circle of Magi.

He'd then be forced out of it by some unfortunate circumstance and survive thanks to the Inquisition. Then my character would try to hold out on his own in battle, but he'd probably end up doing something cowardly and run away screaming while blindingly cast spells left, right, and center.

He'd work best as a healer and stay at the Keep as an advisor/assistant instead of being a companion after a few near brushes with death.

And he'd be a total ****** and probably sleep with any male who reciprocates his fancy.

Ok, that sounds like fun ... let's see. xD

If you were a new DAI companion what would you be like? What would your race and class be?

I'd be a human mage. I would probably be rather talented and a generally good girl, not listening to demons, trying to help people, learning useful spells, being nice to anyone who's reasonably polite towards me, laughing at their jokes (even the bad ones), always being cheerful and supportive  ... but, as in real life, I would also be terribly confused all the time. I would forget what I was saying as I speak. I would forget people's names and faces (not only Cole's). I would forget orders. I would cast weird spells in wrong directions. I would be curious about everything, but only remember unnecessary things, never the important ones. Because of my dizzy nature, I wouldn't care too much about being locked up, therefore I'd be a former circle mage who does want mages to be treated right but wouldn't mind being brought back to a circle. I would probably only leave the Inquisitor if they send me away/kill me (they could kill me for being irritating), because I would get used to following them and would totally forget that I could go away if I wanted to.

Most importantly what do you think the biggest complaint about your character would be by the players?

They would think I'm the most annoying and useless thing ever. And I would maybe remind them of an older and less strong opinionated Merrill.

I would be a male human mage. Not sure which nation I'd be from, maybe Nevarra? Yeah probably Nevarra growing up on the Dragon Hunter tales and lore would be really cool. Creation school specialist and eager to help the less fortunate. I would join the Inquisition to help others and prove magic is an asset to humanity and not a liability. You could find me in the infirmary at the Keep healing the wounded when not in the party with the Inquisitor. I'd probably would get along best with Cassandra and Vivienne. and wouldn't be fond of Sera and Iron Bull's lifestyles. Something Inquisitors may not like about me? I would probably be too serious or stern, and the more free spirited Inquisitors would find me to be a stick in the mud or sourpuss.

If you were a new DAI companion what would you be like?

I'd be an artist and a scoundrel who got on the bad side of some petty and unstable nobles who hated how my artwork "lied" to them, and the world was not as enchanting as I depicted.  When the authorities find out I'm an elf, not human, they decry I stole the artwork from some poor human, and took the credit. I was to be executed, but I escaped with a bounty on my head.

While on the run, I make all sorts of contacts, learn how to be stealthier, and attack from a distance and shadows. All of this in trade for using my talents to aid others. I scribble artwork wherever I go, love the ladies, and disappear, becoming an urban legend.

What would your race and class be?

I'm a elf rogue. Ranged weapons, stealth, and traps are awesome. Also I may sneak up on a person, and gut them.

Most importantly what do you think the biggest complaint about your character would be by the players?

The perception could be that I'm hiding within the ranks of the Inquisition as opposed to being a believer, thus I'm possibly disloyal.

I'd probably be a lazy elf (I have a skinny build so...) circle mage, currently a bit miffed about having to traipse about the countryside instead of settling into his favorite armchair back in the circle with a book.  I probably would avoid taking stances on any big issues and settle for offering dry commentary about all the major factions and how they annoy me.  I wouldn't have many if any contacts outside a few other circle mages, but a good memory and all that reading would give me a significant pool of useful knowledge and useless trivia to draw on.  My mood would probably improve dramatically once inside the Inquisitor's keep, and I'd become more active in looking for solutions to the Inquisition's particular problems.

The players would probably complain that I'm 'whiny' and don't offer solutions to all the problems I complain about.

If you were a new DAI companion what would you be like?

Hmm, well, I'm rather creative, artsy some might say. I live and breathe swear words out the ass and I devour all the things that are food. I gladly share my meals with people, but if someone just outright takes my food, it'll be the last time they'll have hands to grab my food with. I have a weird fascination with everything and am constantly diving into each subconscious while conscious, I look like I'm daydreaming. I'm very protective of those that I love even though I rarely show affection, but when I do, it's because I think you're someone worth protecting. When it comes to judgement, I have to hear every side of the story before I can come to a final decision, even if I outright hate the person who makes the most the sense.

What would your race and class be?

I'm a pretty big and hairy dude, and I'd kill to be born with a steady set of horns, so I would probably be a Qunari Male, most likely a rogue with a fascination for poisons, grenades, and daggers/short swords/axes, cheesewheels, because according to all the skeletal remnants I've been finding all over Thedas, cheesewheels are deadlier than Dwarven politics.

Most importantly what do you think the biggest complaint about your character would be by the players?

  • Cassandra: I've got my eye on that one. >:|
  • Vivienne: Why does he always take my hat, he already has horns!
  • Cole: His hugs hurt.
  • Scribbles: Must he always draw something dirty in the margins?
  • Varric: I'll let you in on the dirty details for pint of ale...
  • Dorian: Are all qunari this socially challenged?
  • Iron Bull: Kid's scary. I like that ****.
  • Sera: Big **** ate all the soddin' cheese.
  • Blackwall: I have mad respect for a man who can make someone who tells fisting jokes blush.
  • Cullen: His vocabulary is rather broad. Is a glory hole found in impoverished areas for prayer?
  • Leliana: Not many things can turn a bard red. That one's mouth does.
  • Solas: He's great and all, but his flirting game is about as puzzling as Cole.
  • Players: Can we kill/**** him?

Out of all seriousness, I would probably be dead, found dead in a vat of elderberry wine with cheese bound to every inch of my body.

Going very strictly based off my real self:

Name: Louisette

Race and Class: Human Mage

Background:

Born into an upper middle class Orlesian family. She enjoyed Orlesian ways of life and relished in the finer things and fashion. Magic powers weren't realized until mid teens (very late) so memories of family and normal life are maintained. Lived in an Orlesian circle until the war broke out. While at the circle Louisette secretly studied shapeshifting magic because the templars would punish it because it would make it easier for mages to escape the circle and harder to track down. She specializes in different feline forms due to her ridiculous love of cats.

When the circle fell apart Louisette didn't affiliate with any mage faction and kept to herself and out of sight of templars and mages who would force their will upon her. She hid by spending most of her days in the form of a domestic house cat. She would actually first meet the Inquisitor in this form. Due to her excessive amount of time roaming around as a cat she sometimes meows when talked to as well as hisses at enemies in battle.

Personality:

Generally Louisette is a loyal rule follower with a respect for authority and has a strong sense of justice. However, she will rebel when she feels that that justice is being squandered, oppressed, or diminished. She is generally pretty shy unless she feels the need to voice her opinion about something. After the Inquisitor makes the attempt to earn trust and get to know her she will open up and be very friendly and supportive. She's also pretty much a crazy cat lady.

When it comes to the templar vs. mage conflict she takes sides with each situation. She believes that in most cases the templars have become too strict, but dislikes the mages that have taken their rebellion too far. Generally wants to help restore balance to Thedas.

Biggest Annoyance:

She will force the Inquisitor to accept any quests pertaining to cats (anyone remember the seneschal script?) if she is in the party.

Relations:

Varric: Will get along handsomely and joke around, he'd probably call her something like "Whiskers."

Cullen: Would have a major crush on him unless the Inquisitor pursued romance with her. Would be secretly jealous if the Inquisitor romanced Cullen.

Vivienne: They would get along in their sense of how they think mages should fit into society (Having checks and balances), but they would conflict when it comes to ambition and desire for power. Vivienne can be a little too dubious at times for her.

Cassandra: Most likely would have a sense of respect for each other, but not really like each other.

Sera: Wouldn't get along, Sera would be too rambunctious for this cat crazy lady.

The Iron Bull: His appearance kinda freaks her out and makes her nervous around him. He doesn't really get why and always tries to joke around with her unsuccessfully.

Solas: Not enough known to tell.

Scribe Girl: Not enough known to tell.

Leliana: They'd go shopping together, but they'd conflict on religious views. Leliana would also think Louisette's cat form was too cute.

Cole: She would pity him and try to be a comfort and befriend him. They'd become pals and sneak around together.

Blackwall: She would greatly admire and respect him and see him as somewhat of a father figure. They would get along and enjoy each other's company.

Dorian: They would relish in how dashing they both think they are and make sarcastic jokes together. He would encourage her to not be afraid or shameful of her magical talents and teach her to be more confident.

You mean assuming I'd survive the first five minutes? Because I'd totally be a Red Shirt/decoy companion.

As much as I'd love to say 'sword and board warrior', I know myself and I'd probably a human mage, spirit healer/creation specialized, from one of the Free Marches states that was transfered to the Ferelden Circle shortly after the Fifth Blight ended. And somehow ended up in the Inquisition. 'Taken water over my head'.

I would be quiet for most part, pretty bookish and get startled if someone adressed me, but none the less add in my opinion or knowledge when relevant to the discussion, mostly historical or such, I'd be a bit hesitant to comment on the political on-goings. Although I'd bite back verbally if someone really pushed my buttons, and make a really bad joke when nervous ("How's the Fade Infection, Inquisitor? Ahah... I-meant-the-glow-on-your-hand-I'm-so-sorry-I'll-just-go-over-there-now-bye"). I'd be a bit of a mother hen, making sure people eat and drink properly, stack bandages and poultices and snacks in my bags and be the one who offers to mend someone's shirt when out in the field or quietly leave something to help against a hangover outside a companion's door. I'd want to do morally good deeds, and be fiercly loyal to those who earned it.

I'd probably get along with everyone, although I'd most certainly feel intimidated by but respect and admire Vivienne and Cassandra (And most likely the Inquisitor too). Iron Bull would intimidate me to a start, but I'd probably warm up to him once I got to know him. In the end I'd probably keep mostly to myself in Skyhold's library (if there is one) and help out in any way I can, but seek out Varric or Dorian when looking for company. I'd ask the former about his stories, and the latter about Tevinter and his magic (And probably nurse a huge crush on him because dude). I'd most likely get along well with Cole too, but be a bit vary of him due to his nature. I'd be fascinated to hear what Solas might tell me too. My views on the Circle would be moderate, I would be dubious about the Chantry, and any jokes on my behalf from the others would most likely be about my awkward personality, uncoordinated dressing (Comfort and practicality), and my unease around horses. ... I also want to say that Sera and Iron Bull most likely would attempt to get me drunk 'to loosen up a bit'.

Complaints from players? Boring. Stick-in-the-mud. Annoying. Whiny. (Probably a few complaints about being unattractive)

Oh god, I would probably be the most horrid freaking companion the world has ever seen.

A female vashoth warrior is something I would like to be in the dragon age universe, but that would porbably put shame on every living qunari.

I would surely whine about everything all the damn time and be totally unenthusiastic, clumsy and lazy. Getting distracted because of the most trivial things. Getting emotional because of this one cute wolf puppy, whose mother tried to rip out my companions' throat. Either believing every crying girl's tragic backstory on the road, or questioning my own companions' loyality for looking at me the wrong way that one time i drank myself sick in the pub. Who am I kidding, I could imagine myself trying to save some poor guy's butt and getting nearly murdered in the process.

I would probably die because I fell down the stairs in the pub and broke my spine. Most epic qunari the world will ever seen I tell you.

I'd be the girliest girly female warrior to grace Thedas. Giant swords on the battlefield, but diplomatic and beautiful in the court/throne room.
