No you're not correct.... I think it's better to have bisexual Blackwall than straight Vivienne. Straight male gamers always get the most options. But with bisexual Blackwall at least one minority would have three options this time.

Apparently after a siging Sheryl Chee when talking about Blackwall said "I wasn't expecting him to be that hot, I hope you're not too disappointed."  This could be anything, but I'm taking it as a sign of hope for us (I do feel bad for people who want to climb the wall though)

More options in Dragon Age or Mass Effect? And so far, straight male only has two options right now. And just because they have more options, doesn't mean they like the options that are giving!

They had two options in DAO. Gay and lesbian gamers only had one option...so not really a choice. Da2 was a nice exception, because all of them were bisexual. ME is even worse representation when it comes to minorities. And it's not an argument if I don't like my options. That's just personal preference. There are also homosexual gamers who don't like Dorian or Sera or who would prefer Cullen or Cassandra. But it's a matter of fact that straight gamers had got many more romance options in Bioware games than homosexual gamers. That's why I'd prefer to have Vivienne or Blackwall being gay/lesbian this time.

I understand wanting more options for yourself (I assume that's why you would prefer Blackwall). If black wall is BI then straight females will have 4 options . Seeing this I am more inclined to believe that they would announce Vivienne as the last one to give straight males 3 choices in keeping with the balance. Though if Vivienne is bi, then everyone will have 3 except for gay males.

 

With that 'logic' to be all round the most 'balanced' a bi Vivienne would be the best option.

Sure, but it goes both ways, for now lesbians also have only two options and liking the options you are given is a matter of personal taste.
