What is funny is that with the extra dev time, they put in two more options for straight females, that amazes me the most. I guess before that it was really balanced for everyone! 

 

I guess I am free to play as my male Quanari mage, whenever I get the game. Not being dramatic really, now that my hype has deflated (I really look forward to romances and character interactions in bioware games) 

 

I guess they might be pushing for the Inquisitor to be a female elf or quanari! CONSPIRACY!

I was, kinda. I get all the reasons why he isn't one, but if there was anything to get me to play a female character and play a male romance, it was that bloody storyteller.
Viv, I gotta say, was one I thought I was a certain thing. Now Bioware have gone and nixed my pattern of playing sarcastic Beardy Rogues wooing the FemMage companion.

I'm feeling relieved right now that my Elfquisitor can still romance Cullen. I suppose Josie would be a good second choice for my Esmerelda too. I hope everyone else has some choices they're happy with at least. Still, the heartache is real.

Seems like Vivienne should have been the original bi female option, and Josephine and Cullen should be the two that were added later, instead of Solas who will be romanced by ~3% of the population.

A part of me can't help but think the short end of the stick FemShep got in ME might have played a roll in it. Of course they would deny this. It likely had no bearing on this. After the BS FemShep got in ME. It honestly doesn't bother me.

 

The problem with Mass Effect 3 female Shepard was that BioWare randomly decided to kill off Thane and have Jacob cheat for no reason.

 

Those were poor writing decisions by the Mass Effect team, the Dragon Age team shouldn't have to make up for those bad decisions.

I sense repetition alot of it now in my playthroughs. I was hoping for a nice mix of Jo, Sera and Viv, so now it will be Sera and Jo and that one quirky Cass playthrough lol. Gah it should have been Viv!

 

 

Gratz to beardy mc beard straight gal lovers, I will never romance him let alone any dudes in this game. Yunno this feels like Mass Effect in reverse, straight sisters getting more options aha.

They have announced that their will be "flits" outside the main group of companions and advisors.

 

Whether that's  the girl from the tavern in Redcliffe who kisses a male Warden(does she do female as well I'm not certain), or one night stands like in SWTOR we don't really know.

 

There is the very small possibility that they are more than those two, and actual mini romances, I guess something like Miranda/Jack in Mass Effect 3 level of content.

 

I would say I'm still holding out hope that the Dwarven Scout is a possibility for my male Dwarf, but I've been wrong twice in a row so I'm putting that out of my mind ASAP.

Well, Cassandra was always my first choice. It looks like Josephine moves up to my second playthrough.

I will at least try ElfxCullen and DwarfxBlackwall.

They will all be nymphos, of course. You aren't escaping your mage mistress now, Cullen.
