There's certainly... something suggestive, but it's not the hat.

The pastels and relative softness of the chiffon almost makes me wonder if this is her equivalent of, say, a dressing gown. However that's probably a ridiculous thought. I'd like to think she at least reaches Regency-dress levels of casual when in that level of undress.

It's been forever since I've heard Vivienne talk, but distinctly recall her having a french(Orlesian) accent. Suppose I'm mistaken, though.

 

Anyway, thought I'd take some time to give a brief summation of my opinions on Viv for posterity's sake; don't much like her, though a bit of what we've learned lately has me more willing to give her a chance.

[PW]: Absolutely. Vivienne is as loyal a Circle mage as you’ll find, so having this scruffy little hedge mage pop in and say, “You’re all close-minded, you should be making friends with spirits,” causes her to get icily disdainful as only Vivienne can.

 

Should be fun having those two together.

I'm not sure.  Iron Bull and Cassandra bond over 'talking shop' after battles and they are both warrior-types.

Yes, this was my thinking too. Then again, I think in the Crestwood situation from PAX, they both might push for saving the Keep over the village.

I'm just making something so I can easily visualise how the companions get along with each other and I wasn't sure whether or not to put them as overall positive or negative. I'll leave it blank for now I suppose.

You are probably right but I'm not sure about Iron Bull's reaction to that.

 

Both would agree on some of the mage issues.

I think Vivienne just has a problem with Solas telling her that she's close minded. She gets along with Iron Bull well most probably because he isn't trying to recruit anyone to the Qun = not enforcing his ideals.

Vivienne doesn't like Solas because:

1) He's a hedge mage and she's pro-Circle
2) He criticizes her and the institution she's attached to.

This is like someone telling a staunch Republican that all conservatives are narrow-minded and out-of-touch. They're unlikely to react well to that.

Agreed. For now, I'll put her as positive with IB, if only because it would mean she's now has 3 'friends' and 3 'rivals' in the other companions according to my little web thing.

What would you say for Vivienne with both Varric and Blackwall? I have no idea who Blackwall gets on with!

If I can find it in myself to call someone scruffy, little hedge it's likely I have perceptions of them being a somewhat professionally inferior mage, like she thinks he is a lesser mage ... She has a point given that his favourite past time is sleeping
