Do you guys have any ideas of what Viv's true agenda might be?

Beyond restoring the Circles?  Becoming more powerful, I guess?  I hope it's nothing sinister... I don't really get that vibe, but I don't think Bioware will make things too predictable either.  It's hard to say really... it could be related to an NPC we've never met.  I honestly don't believe it will be anything bad, though...

Yup.  But like I said, I only did this once, maybe twice, so if the glitch happened or some other conditions were not met, I wouldn't have realized that it was unusual.  My assumption that it had to have been a female Hawke probably came from a youtube video I saw.  That's the only time I ever witnessed Aveline give Hawke a kiss...

You could romance Tali in ME2 though... I wasn't expecting that at all when it came up in dialogue.  xD

So, I just came up with a scenario of how Vivienne would invite the Inquisitor. 

 

Three random goons will show up at Skyhold and start singing.

 

Goon 1: "You are very cordially.

 

Goon 2: "Cordially..."

 

Goon 3: "Cordially"

 

All: "You are very cordially - invited to a party!"

 

Goon 1 "And it will be a grand affair."

 

Goon 2 "Grand affair..."

 

Goon 3 "Grand affair."

 

All: "And it will be a grand affair - hosted by the madam!"

 

Goon 1: "We do hope that you can come."

 

Goon 2: "You can come..."

 

Goon 3: "You can come."

 

All: "We do hope that you can come - to share in all the joy!"

Like you said.... I'm going trough the forums and I'm actually positively surprised by the number of people not very happy with BW choice on this. Hope she gets some additional supporters once the game launches and who knows a campaign to recruit her as LI may get started. It worked for Tali and turned out to be great!! Lets enjoy DAI and set the scene for DAI2 as with all great movie sequels, the best romances come later (SW episode V, Han & Leia)

Me neither as I actually didn't actually follow any build up to ME2, I was even surprised when Garrus showed up, lo, turned out to be one of my favorite games all time

Cassandra looks a little like Selina Kyle (in some of the comics, at least), but Isabela should return to play Catwoman.  A roguish, flirty, adventurous thrill-seeker?  I'd say that works.  Plus, she did steal that ancient Qunari tome...

@ Potato Cat - Is that a portrait of Celene in the corner there?  If so, then most likely... looks really cool, whoever it belongs to.  Aside from the portrait, the furniture seems somewhat lavish... yes, I think that's Vivienne's room.

 

edit:  That portrait looks almost like a shrine... perhaps she and Celene are or were lovers after all?  Or maybe she'd like them to be?
