If there is something going on with her and Celene I'm very okay with that scenario myself.
I doubt it mostly because Morrigan seems to fill the mage position near Celene but it would be cool never the less. I just do not want the companions to focus on the PC to much and be more like DA 2, where they have lives and people outside of missions.

I'm thinking that Vivienne hidden agenda is what stopping her from being a romance option. Or it could just be that she thinks being in a relationship would somehow cut into her trying to get more power and rise to the top of the food chain. If you're together with someone, you have to worry about them and hope that they can keep up with balance, but with the Inquisitor, I can see maybe she thinks that him/her being in a relationship could blind his/her choices that they make. She probably won't agree with inquisitor/whoever they're in a relationship with, which is why she won't give him/her her time.
Just think of her quote "For those who value survival, sentimentally is not an option." Now that I think about it, her character quote should had been the biggest clue that she wasn't going to be a LI.

Fun fact: Every day at work since the announcement, I've heard the song "What is Love" by Haddaway (which I normally enjoy, thanks to SNL and SR4) and I've gone 
, every time. It used to play once a week at most, like the rarest song they play at the Ralph's I work at, but I've heard it EVERY DAY since the announcement.
And when I went to click on this thread today, the playlist I was listening to switched to "Cold as Ice" by Foreigner.
This has led me to one conclusion: There IS a God, and he's ****** with me.

"Sentimentally is not an option" is more like in the forced situation where you either have to save yourself or sacrifice yourself to protect others...... BUt this is only for those who value survival....

The marketing around Vivienne was very poorly done if you ask me, I hope Bioware learns from it.
*First off, She was one of the first companions revealed as such we got more time to get familiar with her implying she would have an important role, and in Bioware terms that means LI (see all screenshots, trailers, she always figures prominently)
*Secondly, people were very early stating Vivienne was a great option (so far) when it concerned potential LI, moreover she always seemed to be a logic choice for LI. Bioware never did anything to make us think different, moreover they waited till the very end to say she wasn't. They should have done more to put don the rumours rather then let it build up to something I can only call an anti-climax. Eg. the announced Iron Bull very early as BI, which was I fun surprise, but damn, they could have announced then that Viv was no LI instead and wait with Iron Bull till this week, it would have made a nice surprise for many to have IB announced and it would have at the same time have avoided for many to be very disappointed with the late announcement of the Non-LI role of Viv.
