Well my first Inquisitor's default party will probably be made up of my archer Inquisitor, archer Sera, tanking Cassandra/Iron Bull, (depending on whether or not that's possible with Bull/doesn't look weird with him), and Vivienne on the awesome button.

I'm not sure if Vivienne's ever going to leave her party. It's likely Solas and Dorian won't be recruited by her, if at all possible.

I'll bring the ice, Dorian the lightning and Vivienne the FIRE   ! 

 

Sera also irks me a little, generally I don't like characters like her, but Jack in ME proved me wrong, ended up loving her character. I don't think I'll not recruit any particular character, unless I have to choose between them and Vivienne and well...yeah

The only reason Solas, Dorian and Cole are not getting picked up is because it doesn't really make sense for my character to trust them. I suppose it'll make subsequent playthroughs much more interesting at least!

And Vivienne will be bringing the ice for me. I'm not sure what other schools I want her to learn from, but I know I don't want her learning any naturey spells. Too dirty and pedestrian for her!

Hostess with the Mostess - Viv x Cullen

Vivienne closed her eyes to hide their roll - something she would not normally be excessively bothered with, but the Inquisition as a movement was set to become the most important factor in the social and political life of Thedas, even if the supposed Inquisitor was a step back from being a genlock. The broad-faced dwarf was dressed like a swaggering thug, but the Senior Enchanter knew better than to stand on ceremony towards the strongest shield against the hordes of demons threatening her hard-won world.

The Fereldan templar, though… this she could work with. Templars to Vivienne were like rocks to a river - work around them or wear them down, the water seemed malleable but would have its way. She put out her hand and, with as much genuine sympathy as she could muster, said “Knight-Captain, your reputation precedes you. I am truly honoured.”

His battered face crinkling politely, he took her hand and bent over it deeply, not quite kissing it. “The honour is mine, my lady. I hope that our partnership is a positive one.”

Mmm, yes. Beaten hands, scarred lip, but manners - Madame de Fer was not weak, never, but if she would be weak, it would be for this.

I'll love to bring Cole together with Vivienne. I'd love to see two the develop their friendship....

 

 

 

For adventure and long trips -

 

I will always take Vivienne with the only exception while playing a Qunari/Elven Female Mage and a Dwarf Male Warrior. Because there I'll either be with Solas or Dorian(with gay dwarf). Or both Dorian and Vivienne if I'm playing a rogue.

 

As I've planned. It will always be Vivienne and Cassandra  - Then either Varric/Cole If I'm not playing a Rogue.. I'll take Sera when I have an Elf and Qunari... Because of Varric.

I might even take Vivienne and Blackwall....just to cure my major disappointment with the last LI reveal. If I see there is a tension between both like in real life before the LI reveal. I will never pick Blackwall again. hahahaha jk.

 

Then Blackwall, Solas and Cole in later playthrough.... who knows when.

It's funny and this could just be me, but it seems like one can tell which characters Bioware are pushing for in Inquisition just by looking at which character threads they've replied to (Hint: all except Vivienne) . This might not bode well.

It was originally just a thread asking if Vivienne was black because earlier pictures didn't show her as dark as we now know her. It just evolved into a fan thread.
