I get the feeling that this may tie in with Vivienne's secret agenda... she may attempt to influence us in Celene's favor, and may have even joined the Inquisition specifically for this purpose.  Speculation of course, but I prefer that to thinking she has a secret, evil agenda...

^^^this would actually make sense to me. Then there is the element of her being a mage...Viv might surprise us.

I'll have to build a mini bar in Vivienne's grand room in my Skyhold and then make sure she has the most finest wines and brevages in all Orlais. Hire Cullen as the waiter and make Solas go look for flowers in the bushes to decorate her room. Ironbull and Blackwall as bodyguards just incase. Hide Cole and Sera behind the curtains. Make Varric our jester.

 

So she can host a  party for my Human Inquisitor together with Leliana, Dorian, Cassandra, Josephine, and all the richest noblewomen in all Orlais.

They passed the hat around the throne room while court was in session. Granted, blocking off the exits by conjuring up foot-thick walls of ice tend to make even the stingiest of nobles a bit more generous.
