So without any deep combat spoilers, I will note that Knight-Enchanter ABSOLUTELY delivers on what I wanted from the spec.

So after playing Destiny I just noticed that the character Ikora Rey looks a lot like a sci-fi version of Vivienne, right down to being a high-ranking magic user:

Im not a regular on this thread because im not really all that interested in this character, even before the no LI reveal, but watching the 2013 expo demo i noticed she has quite the ...... strut while in combat lol, its almost laughable, its like her very movement screams, "TOO FABULOUS FOR THIS COMBAT!" ... can someone give me a run down of just what is Vivienne's demeanor?

OT: she's a ambitious, stern ,pragmatic and divine circle mage that is pro-circle. She's a mystery since we have little info. But my assesment is somewhat of the general consenses. Cheers friend, a toast to vivienne

Well I was actually considering the fact that Vivienne is not a KE, becuase I'd like her to have her own specialization. I saw the vid too with Viv skill trees..
I knew KE'd be somewhat like AW from DAO....but i thought more like casting spells rather than fighting with magic sword/shield......also because... People were like suggesting Viv is KE, Solas = Rift Mage and Dorian = Necromancer.  I do not see Vivienne with a sword and shield.....I see Solas as a Rift Mage. And Dorian well....might like summoning corpses.
 
So since Patrick mentioned Arcane Warrior, as the agent in MP was an elf. I'm guessing our Elf Inquistor is like AW while human is KE...
 
I don't know. Anyway you might be right. Lets just wait for the game.
I posted that because at least someone mentioned Knight Enchanter.

I'm sure all 9 companions have their own unique specializations.

I hope Vivienne is the 'bridge character' for the next Dragon Age. And that she's available to male pcs.

Then yes please maker knows I'm tired of seeing DAO and DA2 people over again.

 

I hope that doesn't mean she's gonna remain shrouded in mystery the whole game tho =/

I plan on speccing Viv into the DA Ororo. Not sure what else would fit aside from ice and lightning.

ah a new face welcome the thread im RM (would say call me monkey but it can misconstrued). *Mixes the beast,shirly templar, rum, brandy, jack danials whisky, black conyak, tequila, a sour skittle, large lyrium stone, then lites it on fire giving it a blue flame* here you go its called a lady of flame(like andraste)
