I plan on speccing Viv into the DA Ororo. Not sure what else would fit aside from ice and lightning.

If you focus heavily on those two trees, you'll probably run out of talent points before doing too much else.  Learn at least some of her specialization skills and figure out a way to pick up Barrier and you're probably good to go.  I was planning something similar actually, but Storm hadn't crossed my mind when I came up with it... I was going to have her and Dorian both learn Ice and Lightning, with each of them mastering one of those and taking the other as a secondary focus.  But as you say, Ice and Lightning fit Storm perfectly.

Is it possible she's the Queen of Cups? I admit I don't know anything about tarot cards and my guess is purely from a few quick google searches. I found an explanation behind the card. Dunno how accurate.

Her card does look similar to the Queen of Cups. Maybe her goals aren't that sinister after all.

I actually looked more closely at the black snake she is holding in her other hand . And also the 2nd card Rose posted...tell me that doesn't look more like a healer ? (or is it just me?) .

Snake / Serpent:

The snake or serpent is known as the ‘awakener ‘and the sign of the ‘healer’. It is seen as a symbol of wisdom, secrecy and subtlety.

The serpent or snake is one of the symbols for the astrological sign of Scorpio because of its reptilian ability to transform and regenerate yearly through shedding its’ skin.

The Root Chakra is symbolically depicted as a serpent asleep at the base of the spine. This ‘sleeping serpent’ is called the ‘Kundalini’. When the Kundalini is stimulated, the serpent travels up from the base of the spine (the Root Chakra) all the way to the Crown Chakra.

In Native American teachings, the snake is seen as a symbol of transmutation because it sheds it’s skin once each year. The snake is enigmatic as it embodies sexuality, psychic energy, alchemy, reproduction and immortality.

In the Bible, the serpent is the only animal cunning enough to trick Eve into eating of the forbidden fruit. Although the serpent is seen as ‘evil’ in the Genesis account by many, some Bible scholars postulate that the serpent did not in fact trick Eve, but was actually symbolic of the Kundalini energy awakening within the couple. Even the Bible depicts the serpent as a powerful being who has healing and transforming capabilities. When Moses was in the desert with the Israelites, poisonous snakes invaded the camp. Moses was instructed by Jehovah to fashion/make a bronze serpent and place it on a pole so that anyone who was bitten by a snake only had to look at the bronze serpent to survive. Even to this day, the medical profession has chosen to use the serpent as a symbol for its profession, thus verifying its healing qualities.

The serpent/snake is seen in the Major Arcana on The Lovers (6) and upon The Wheel of Fortune (10).

As for Vivi agenda being sinister or not.......I guess , it could be true or untrue . or it could be also where we stand in the story...

I won't judge her agenda if she has any..I want the surprise !

That's cool. I took it as being a mirror to the snake in Dorian's card. Dorian's is white, Vivienne's is black. Dorian's is the right way up, Vivienne's is upside down. Dorian's looks much stronger and alive, Vivienne's looks kind of weaker. Since the serpent is a symbol of Tevinter, my interpretation was Dorian holds a much more classic pro-Tevinter, (albeit reformed in some way), pro-mage view while Vivienne is much more pro-Circle. Obviously, that's nothing groundbreaking, we've known that from the start, but that's what I took from it.

It's clear the snakes' conditions are supposed to provide a contrast between Vivienne and Dorian.  IMO, Dorian's white, right-up snake is 'alive', possibly tamed, while Vivienne's black snake is dead or otherwise disabled.  Perhaps this is indicative of their personality in dealing with dangerous situations, objects or skills.  Dorian will take a risk and try to use it to his advantage, while Vivenne would prefer not to take the risk and stop it from potentially biting her back in the future.  (Maybe in typical Tevinter and Orlesian fashions?)

Yes I think it is Queen of Cups too and I have some base knowledge of tarot. Also why is she a lot more light skinned in the card? They really need to fix that.

She's lighter skinned in all her concept art because in earlier iterations she was lighter skinned.

Emotions and ambition, maybe? Temperance is about moderation, and if Viv is pro-Circle, that's pretty moderate. Not sure. I could see Queen of Cups too!

Well pro-Circle is arguably the moderate view between pro-Templar and pro-Mage. If she's for a reformed Circle system, that's some Avatar balancing right there.
