Well, Cole did murder a number of Mages in the White Spire. I could understand her being slow to trust him because of that.

Yeah, but that sounds more like a serious disagreement or conflict, not neutrality... and I thought Panda was the one who pointed this out to me long ago...

She's from Montsimmard. I doubt she knows what Cole did but regardless, he's a spirit/demon/whatever and in Vivienne's opinion, doesn't belong on this side of the veil. It's not personal.

Yeah, strongly dislikes, maybe not as strongly as Sera though. Viv just has a healthy distrust of demons. I think one dev said a team with Sera, Cole and Viv is team not speaking to one another.

Yeah probably, actually come to think of it yeah, Sera dislikes people of powerful influence. Well this will be trickery, seeing as I'm using Viv as my go to mage and Sera is a given anyway.

Oddly enough, I can picture Sera and Vivienne getting along in a catty sort of way. Viv is in a special situation where she has power within a system that usually shuns people like her. I could see Sera begrudgingly respecting that in time. It depends on what their arcs are, I guess.
I found the wording used to describe how Vivienne views Cole interesting. Why "banish safely" and not simply destroy/eliminate? The former could indicate that she understands the danger of interacting with spirits, while not necessarily viewing Cole as malevolent. Basically, just wanting him away from mortals who would otherwise corrupt him, intentionally or not. Also notice that by comparison with Sera, who's described as "refusing to talk to 'it' altogether" it would seem she does at least acknowledge his existence if you let him join; though I suspect she'd keep things very short and aloof with him (for both their sakes).

I think it mostly had to do with her clothes. Plus it might be all in god nature on Dorian's part.
Either that or i'm confusing Sera with Cole which is likely since that tweet was awhile ago. I should see if I can dig it up.
