Seeing as Madame de Fer seems to be the least moralistic companion she is definitely my favorite female companion for the time being ,she and my ruthless human mage would get along splendidly.
If my prediction of her is correct and she is confirmed as a romance i would most like be compelled to perform a little jig....dont judge.
Well, I called her and Solas not getting along, though I expected less "icy disdain" and more "trying to verbally tear each other's throats out", though I suppose they felt that would be too similar to her relationship with Dorian.

Considering that the elven Inquisitor is gaining military and political power across two nations, I don't think that would be an issue in this circumstance.

by default being an inquisitor is power. So I'm not sure she'd leave the elf out.

I think it's Vivienne was the publicly named successor of the First Enchanter of Montsimmard, but with the Circles rebelling, she couldn't actually become First Enchanter, even if the current was to die. However, not supporting the War, Vivienne probably still recognises the authority of the Circles and so with the death of the last FE, she's possibly proclaimed herself FE, even if the system no longer formally exists. Other pro-Circle mages probably support her claim, especially given the idea that our companions are 'leaders' in this game.
What I was thinking too. The other mages respect her already, see her as their leader thus would not oppose her claims.

Yeah exactly! If Vivienne was that Enchanters successor that's probably why Celene thought to consult her on the the Montsimmard issue.

He is also against circles since he wants mage freedom so add that to the list.
I believe it’s safe to assume that he won’t be her favorite person, his methods were idiotic not to mention crude but i think the Madame is clever enough to see potential in self-governance for mages.
The chaff of mage kind require a leader that will bring order as well as discipline and my human mage inquisitor is willing to take up this cup and i am certain the Madame would be willing to lend a hand (though i doubt the Madame will be willing to play second fiddle...unless it benefits her of course)
After all no-chantry does not mean no cricle.
