I don't think anybody is in charge of the mages in the hinterlands...
But I thought that was a good thing. Anders told me so.

I actually hope so, because if there's someone in charge that person seems to be a moron.

I Honestly think it'll be too moronic for every mage leader shown so far. I'd say Adrian Could be if the mages were responding by threats from the population in the hinterlands, but they're not. They're attacking everyone on sight.

I've seen some on this thread claim Vivienne has said that the Templars slaugthering mages soil the name of the Order but I can't seem to find it. Could anyone help me?

I've known for a little while that Vivienne isn't one of the love interests for DA:I. It's not the end the world, but it's just too bad. She seems like she could have been an awesome choice. That's life. Real and game worlds. Some are available, some are not. Luckily, there are other choices and there's enough going on in the game to hopefully distract you most of the time.
I'm shocked she wasn't originally planned to be an LI.

Sangy, just remember that even if she is not romanceabled you will not die for that and I find sad that Cass is not a dwarf but I will not die for that either.

Quite frankly I'll be inclined to do the opposite of anything Anders. He's a knobAnders' solution to combat fear is by instilling more fear. Not exactly the brightest lightbulb.

After the recently revealed dialogue, I just know there will be some headbutting between my first Inquisitor and Vivienne. I must be masochistic because I'm looking forward to it, but I believe my Inquisitor can hold her own in a debate against Vivienne. ![]()
BTW, commendable writing. This extremely biased account of things sounds deceptively reasonable.

Especially if an ex-Circle mage.

From what we know, Vivienne is practically the embodiment of someone who has not allowed the system to force her into submission. Did you even read the Mary Kirby interview? She took a position in court that was the magical equivalent of a jester and turned it into something that garnered her respect and the consideration of some very powerful individuals. That's not someone allowing themselves to be bludgeoned into submission.
And she has that uniquely annoying self-made characteristic of "if I made it, no one else deserves help and the system doesn't need to change."

Somehow I suspect she is a bit pragmatic, maybe it's because being pragmatic has helped further her ambitions.
Or maybe she actually she believes in the circle. Wynne was also pro circle.
Curious to learn much more about her background now.

id rather have her views of moderation than the situation nowAnd she has that uniquely annoying self-made characteristic of "if I made it, no one else deserves help and the system doesn't need to change."

Last time I checked, there's been no mention on whether or not she wants a change in the system

I think she want's to change the system by becoming in charge of it.

Evidently, she doesn't want any mage opposition to the templars.

Still has nothing to do with whether she wants a change or not
And I'm also think she agreed with Divine Justinia's idea

Maybe because she knows that the templars are necessary and aren't so bad as you make them to be.
I mean, sure there are some rotten apples like Alrik, but that doesn't mean the entire order is bad.
