Maybe because she knows that the templars are nessecary and aren't so bad as you make them to be.
I mean, sure there are some rotten apples like Alrik, but that doesn't mean the entire order is bad.
Someone needs to watch the lesser mages while the adults are at work.
As long as we have enough opportunities to challenge her views I don't have any problems with Vivienne being pro-circle. But it would be weird if my elven mage would suddenly agree with her that templars are somehow necessary

By this point? Yes. Yes it does. The entire Order that exists now is that which chose to pursue its extremely illegal and wholly unprovoked war against the mages instead of staying with the Chantry. I have no regard or sympathy for any of them, and my only choice that I hope to give is surrender or die.

I'm beginning to understand why Bioware won't let us romance Vive. Any union between the PC and Vive would result in a superior mage ruling class that would guide Thedas safely through all dangers it could possibly face. Simply put there would be no NEED for other heroes anymore and the Dragon Age Series would have to end. So it's best to prevent the creation of Thedas first God-Emperor.
Looking forward to Vivienne, finally a mage with some common sense again.

1.) Do you think there will be the possibility to give vivi a different headdress, I love her outfit save for that maleficient style horned head-dress. I hope that we get another option, ie no headdress at the very least.

1) There is some concept art floating around that shows her in a few different headdresses that match the theme of her outfit... hopefully those made it into the game because some of them looked pretty cool. I am still hoping for some kind of circlet for her to wear so that I don't have to toggle of everyone's helmet just to get a good look at her. That would be the only "no headdress" option short of not equipping anything at all... losing armor and stat bonuses isn't worth it to me, at least not while we're in combat...

well as I have the helmet toggled off anyways, I guess number one won't actually effect me. I do wish we had a choice for individual toggles though. and grr. vivi tell me your tailor as that dress is good, much better then the casual outfit we get in skyhold.
So guys whose party banter with Viv are you most looking forward to? I'm personally excited for her banter with Dorian and Cassandra.
Probably Dorian, Cassandra, Cole, and Solas. I can't imagine she'll have anything particularly interesting to say to the others...
I agree that the Cole and Vivienne dynamic should be interesting. I've read Asunder and I look forward to seeing more from Cole, I honestly did not think that I would have liked him. If I remember correctly Vivienne refers to him as an 'it' so that should be entertaining.
Vivienne and Dorian should have some interesting clashes I'd bet. Their respect mage backgrounds being as different as they come. Now to mention it, all three mages together should entertain.
