Gotta keep this thread alive! How are going to utilize Viviene in combat?
I think focus on Spirit tree and KE tree.
Support/Barriers/Healing/etc.
I guess I'll position her closer to the Warrior/tank in the party so she can keep barriers up on the tank and herself.

I don't know yet, I might utilize her more for crowd control. I'd have to look into her spec more.

Not sure yet but I'm planning to use her as my main mage, will use Dorian now and again also.
I think I might end up using her as my primary mage as well. I feel meh towards Dorian and am not sure about Solas just yet.

For my first playthrough, Viv will be a mix of DPS/crowd control (I'm leaning towards the "Winter" tree). She and Dorian will be my long-range damage dealer(s).
Anyway, Twitch stream on Friday. I hope we get to hear some of her party banter (assuming we see her).
Yea, me too. Was thinking she is fit for a mix of DPS / Crowd Control - with some winter spells .
Might take Solas with some fire spells - DPS / binder
Dorian my Support Mage / Lightning spells focusing on CC alone.

Man, Vivienne is obnoxious.
i think of it like this: a person with a PH.D or any other doctorate worked hard to get it. Some are humble about it others want to be known by their title as a sign of recognition of their acheivement. Could viv been cool about it? Yes probably but thats her character.... besides i like snarky/mean women lolMan, Vivienne is obnoxious.
Vivienne is so FAB. Sera had better sit down before Viv slays her with a phrase.
You'll need a bit more arrow behind your words for it to truly bother her, mistress of egotism masquerading as poise.

I wouldn't call it obnoxious. It's slightly mis-quoted, Sera actually called her "Viv", which isn't her name. I'm guessing someone in Vivienne's position sees it as somewhat rude to address someone as such. I know it bothers me if someone shortens my name or nicknames me when they don't know me.
Basically, Sera showed no manners, Vivienne called her on it.

If true, Vivienne allowed herself to be baited way too easily. Sera would have been annoying too, but Vivienne being immediately haughty over it is hardly clever.

Vivienne is fierce. At the end of the day, she will stand tall in her high-heeled boots and slay everyone with poise and grace.
And, if anyone is obnoxious, it is Sera. Her voice makes me cringe, and I get the distinct impression that she is going to complain about the weather, and the outdoors wherever we go. I didn't tolerate that crap from Serana in Skyrim, and I won't tolerate it from Sera either, should I be proven correct.
