I wonder if there is a headdress collection quest to earn Vivienne's favor :-) I want to help her stay fabulous. Even though she doesn't need it...

Vivienne is fierce.  At the end of the day, she will stand tall in her high-heeled boots and slay everyone with poise and grace. 

 

And, if anyone is obnoxious, it is Sera.  Her voice makes me cringe, and I get the distinct impression that she is going to complain about the weather, and the outdoors wherever we go.  I didn't tolerate that crap from Serana in Skyrim, and I won't tolerate it from Sera either, should I be proven correct.

Well, come on, you'll be running around in the pouring rain without any concession to it.

 

And I've seen neither poise nor grace in her comments here, only a surprisingly fragile ego.

If true, Vivienne allowed herself to be baited way too easily. Sera would have been annoying too, but Vivienne being immediately haughty over it is hardly clever.

Using her full name is one thing. Expecting Sera to immediately use her full-on Orlesian court title when Sera would likely not have any logical way of knowing it beforehand is absurd.

 

It reminds me a bit of Isabela's and Aveline's early relationship, where Isabela deftly deflected anything potentially offensive that Aveline said, whereas Aveline rather frequently just told Isabela to shut up.

Undoubtedly. But I'm not noticeably more impressed with Vivienne's manners than Sera's.

I don't think anyone should be worried with Vivienne's attitude... I'm sure she'll soften up, and warm-up to the Inquisition's members after some good ole questing.

 

Plus her attitude completes her very cool character.

The only way I would equip that to Vivienne is if she would openly complain about it the whole time. After which, I'd craft her something really nice as an apology.

I didn't "catch" anything because of the developers talking over it, so I'm relying on quotes stated here.
