She is black, blue eyes are for white people. Dark eyes would make her look more natural/real and cool.

It's a fair opinion. I just did a google image search and it looks like she always had brown eyes before. I guess they just changed it?

I like her eye color. It's a fantasy setting. Why not have fun and create something you don't see everyday? Of course, she could also have blue eyes in her ancestry. I baby sit a little girl with a Chinese mom and she has blue eyes and blonde hair X).

My inquisitor will also have crazy multi colored eyes... Blue and red maybe

It's not a bad angle or lighting at all. It's crystal clear if you just click on the picture to enlarge. That drawing is MUCH more vague. Not only is the colour not very discernible, it's mostly a doodle, and she even has a clean shaven head unlike in game.

 

Here's another with clearly brown eyes:

 

If anything, her eyes are much harder to see clearly in those latest screenshots. But it does look like they've changed it.

Sure, I mean we don't even know what she is really since Bioware has been all over the place with their depiction of Rivians. Maybe she's half Rivian and half African-analogue. I'm just saying Earth Walker is entitled to say that brown looks more natural.

I just had a thought.  I'm sure it's been covered in the past 200 pages, but I didn't feel like digging around for it:

 

If we toggle helmets off, does that mean that Vivienne's fabulous headgear also gets toggled off?  I'd be fine with it personally, since she looks gorgeous with her short hair, but it would be nice to have the option to have her still wear hats and not be stuck with full helmets on my other characters.

^Ironically I was just watching a video review and Vivienne was seen in combat without any headgear. 

 

There are some scenes from the beginning of the game from what I glimpsed. I had the video scrolled all the way down until I saw combat

In that one new screenshot without her hat, her eyes appear to have a dark grayish-brown outer iris and a lighter gray inner iris. My guess is that making the inner iris lighter was a design choice to better contrast with her pupils. They are most definitely not blue, though.

Interesting, I agree, usually my second playtrough is better in terms of game wise as you chose based on what you know, however 1st pkaytrough is often more fun as I adore discovering and exploring, the waaauuuw factor is really important to me, so I avoid spoilers as good as I can. I remember Kotor, waauuwww

Pretty much. I know I'm just forgoing helmets again for most companions. Vivienne gets priority.

It's like a dark turqoise here. And something looks off with her cleavage that makes it look like a barbie doll's chest. I think it's how there's a dark outline and then a light outline again.

I noticed they seemed to have retouched Cassendra somewhat to have her look, less ... well topic for another thread, let's leave it at, damn BW, you'd better have some good excuse or DLC to satisfy my Vivienne obsession that you seem to like putting in my face every now and then with personlised trailers,.... I'm dying out here
