They could make a Coronation DLC like the Citadel DLC, you could talk to the Divine and her plans, talk to Fiona/Barris/Fletcher about the future of the mages/templars (and the Bright Hand/Silver Shield/College of Enchanter/Circle of Magi/Templar Order), talk to the Orlais ruler, talk to the Ferelden ruler(s), etc...

A Citadel-style DLC is top of my list for DAI. Even more than a 'Wolf Hunt'. If they do a Citadel, I'm confident we'll see the various Divine Victorias. Would love to see all the others you mentioned too.

But any other DLCs, I am worried the content will be lacking for our three candidates.

A downside I saw on that path

If she could have been made tranquil, I'm certain it would have been followed by 'Vivienne Greatly Approves.'

Some post-tranquil banter between Fiona & Vivienne could have been amusing..

Vivienne: Fiona darling it seems you've finally found a way to be useful. I trust you'll be finished soon with that rune I ordered?

Fiona: Yes, my lady.

Vivienne: And so well-mannered. Who'd have thought it? I must say my dear your new position suits you.

I like Fiona...and I am not sure if Vivienne would approve (I don't know if she approves if you tranquilize Alexius or Erimond). Tranquility is not supposed to (nor never intended to be) as a punishment.

She approves if its Erimond, dont approves or disapproves if its Alexius.

She approves if you make Erimond Tranquil. Not entirely sure on this, but I think he was a maleficar who consorted with demons, right? Is that considered an appropriate use of the Rite?

I don't really have any strong feelings for Fiona either way. I agree with Vivienne's thoughts on her, but even so I'm not sure she'd approve of making Fiona tranquil either. I'm not sure what she'd want for Fiona's punishment.

Ok, thx. I can't say that makes me like her more :)

I think tranquility is quite possibly the most disturbing thing about the DA universe. Voluntary tranquility...I can accept. But using it as a punishment is a really bad idea...and just wrong.

Well Vivienne clearly shows she cares about the Tranquil. When you find the Tranquil skulls in Redcliffe, she's disgusted that the rebels allowed it to happen to them. My theory is that this is because she had a difficult Harrowing based on that banter with Cole, and so was nearly made one herself.

Erimond was the one helping Cory manipulate the Wardens with summoning demons, so I guess he definitely fits under that :P

Vivienne would probably approve if you make Fiona her underling :P

Everytime I played the GW quest, I suffered badly from the Stroud bug. I struggled to follow what was going on and I wasn't sure how active Erimond's role was.

I was VERY tempted to make Erimond tranquil, but I decided against it, largely because I saw the potential for backfire.

I am not against using it as punishment for moral reasons. If anything, it might be better than capital-punishment, because you can reverse it if you later find out that the guilty verdict given was wrong. However, it is useless if it can be easily undone.

It wasn't a matter of allowance; it's not as if the rebels could do anything. Also, once you start the Harrowing, you succeed or die; there's no backing out to become Tranquil.

I'd rather replace Vivienne with Fiona in my party, honestly.

Well, if she's no longer leader of the rebellion, I'd love to have her along. Especially for banter. I might even romance her if she was an option.

What does being a mage or not being a mage have to do with it? If being a mage inherently makes you more knowledgeable of the dangers of magic, you should trust Tarohne over Thrask. And if Fenris is irrationally projecting things, we can dismiss Vivienne in the same way by virtue of her being an enormously egotistical ******.

... What? That has nothing to do with ... eh. It's not worth it, lol.

Age being an obstacle to Vivienne's plans doesn't make sense if she is only as old as she appears. The Nightmare demon's "..at your age" taunt really only works if Vivienne is older than she looks, and doesn't potentially have several decades of life left.

I think she's just vain. And for women in particular, aging is seen as unattractive.

It wasn't a matter of allowance; it's not as if the rebels could do anything. Also, once you start the Harrowing, you succeed or die; there's no backing out to become Tranquil.

They could have done something about it by not siding with Tevinter in the first place and putting themselves in the position of being indentured servants. So much for freedom. And I say "they," but I really mean "Fiona." I'd only replace Vivienne with Fiona if there was a "slap Fiona" option like for Solas, except repeatable -- and my libertarian mage would be the first one lining up to do it.

Seriously, Fiona caught a bad case of the stupids in Inquisition.

The more I play, the more I like Vivienne. And less of Solas.

Solas: Tell me, Enchanter, do you even bother to explore the Fade in your dreams?
Vivienne: I prefer to explore the world I actually live in.
Solas: A pity. You could be much more powerful if you ventured outside your narrow preconceptions.
Vivienne: Ah, the temptation to leave the path. You sound like a pride demon.
Solas: Enchanter, any pride demon you met would just walk way, shaking its head and laughing uncontrollably.
Vivienne: Oh, darling, more than one already has.

Heh, I like Solas more once he's put into perspective from the ending, and after his part in Cole's quest (especially on Inquisitors who don't get along with Solas; I like the idea they all care about Cole enough to put that aside).

Also wish I could compliment his murals -- even the Inquisitors who don't get along with him appreciate a stunning piece of art.

I understand their reasons. Certainly it's not going to make me repeat Alexius' actions and indenture them in turn.

I wasn't suggesting Vivienne was different because she knew more about magic -- I was suggesting she's different because she's not a character hating something different than herself like Fenris (nor is she hating mages at all, actually). And being egotistical doesn't mean you're irrational. I didn't feel like dissecting why your logic doesn't work, and this is seriously all the effort I'm willing to put into it, lol. Suffice to say, none of your examples up there apply.

As to Fiona, I understand being desperate and afraid, but if freedom was so important, she threw it away again awfully quickly. But not conscripting the mages? I can only do that on a character that enjoys chaos and doesn't care who could get hurt, because at the end of the day, Dumb Fiona is still in charge in that scenario. Templars at least get Ser Barris, who proves after the fact (via wartable missions) that he's both capable and compassionate.

Even my decent, libertarian mage conscripted the mages, lol. That's how incompetent I think Fiona is. I wasn't playing my mage as a stupid character, and she wanted her freedom to actually last.

Aside from the fact that I refuse to indenture the rest of the mages solely because of the mistakes of the leadership, Fiona was already punished for that: exile from Ferelden. Also, she's not in charge anymore, which you learn after you talk to her at Skyhold (she mentions that she's no longer the leader of the rebellion).

True, but you don't learn that she's no longer in charge until after you make the decision, unless I missed a dialogue option. I have put that character on hold awhile back because I was hoping for a hair mod :P

What does it matter? They're not going to leave the Inquisition's protection; everything's safe.
