Hold on if she is from the freemarches and kirkwall is in the freemarches and hawkes famliy came from kirkwall and the mageWarden is also from there then and his or her sisters and brothers were taken to other circles of magi then Viv could be the sister of our magewarden.I think MageWarden mom name was Revka she was said to have other kids that got token away to other circles.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if she has a  humble background.  Like an orphan from Lowtown picked up by the Templars.  And then through magical power and impeccable fashion sense, she rises in power within the Circle of Magi.

In Origins, your own skin color had nothing to do with that of your family. My human noble was quite dark, I don't recall dad thinking it was odd.

The default family is.

 

My canon mage Hawke pt has a family of Rivani heritage so could be related to Vivienne.   Though, the Warden won't be an Amell.

Oh, I mean my Warden isn't an Amell.  I usually use Surana for my Circle mage.

I wouldn't get my hopes up of her VA being revealed today. Shortly after expressing his desire to publicly gush over her VA, Gaider tweeted this:

Leliana and Riordan have French VAs, yet they're still not born in Orlais

She was born in Fereldan but raised in Orlais, actually.

They sort of tried to differentiate between the Ferelden characters and free Marcher characters in DA2 with accents. Fereldens have more regional and northern accents and the free marchers had, well actually I'm not sure what that accent is. They weren't all the same but it was more southern but like less posh than the nobles ofc. 

 

All the nobles in both Ferelden and the free marches had posher southern accents (or they were Orlesian) 

 

Vivienne's accent fits as someone from the free marches, in my opinion. But idk maybe I am just over exaggerating it.

I guessing Viv has lived in Orlais for most of her life but was raised in the free Marches. She might have some personal connection to that circle then although I am sure she would have been gone by the time Hawke arrived.

Yeah that's what I thought.  I reloaded and old save and Leliana does tell the Warden she was born in Orlais.

That's a bit of a stretch 

 

And she might not even be from Kirkwall
