Leliana and Riordan have French VAs, yet they're still not born in Orlais

 

And Duncan (half-Ferelden, half-Rivaini) was raised in Orlais but has no French accent. The accents just don't make sense if you think about them too much.

Umm... I don't know if it's been brought up, but I'm pretty sure Viv has been indirectly confirmed as a LI thanks to Sheryl's post? Assuming there's an even gender ratio of LIs, she has to be one, because there are 8 total, all within the companions and advisors. That means that, minus Leliana, there are 4 women and they are all romanceacle to someone. Yay math? Didn't know if it was brought up yet, but I thought it might make some people happy if it hasn't been. Chances are she's even bi! She may be one of the race-gated romances, but I think it's pretty much a sure bet that she'll be available.

Personally I'd prefer Vivienne to be romanceable,because I believe that her romance arc will be really interesting...Although I wouldn't be surprised if they go that route.

Same! Like if there is a reason, I hope it's like because "this character is too tall or too short"

Her voice is definitely one I have heard before. Sounds a bit like the Sith Warrior voice... it might be Maria Doyle Kennedy (Catherine of Aragon from Tudors) but... I can't place it.
