*looks at thread* man, this is a classy place huh?
Well, all you had to do was look at the thread name: Madame de Fur.

I'm unsure what you're arguing.
You've stated that you think Cassandra shaves her public hairs. We don't know anything about Thedas that would suggest that's true. If we bring Cassandra into a contemporary context, that still seems unlikely.
Someone is saying that they disagree with your assessment. Can you provide your reasoning? Because Jaheira and 'it's just a video game' doesn't do so.
My meaning was not clear, sorry. I don't know if she does anything with her pubic hair, and because it's just a video game I don't care what, if anything, she does with it. The razor thing was meant to be a joke, because Cassandra and blades, but it didn't come across. I was bringing up the Jaheira thing because it seemed silly to me not to explore a relationship with a given character because their body hair may or may not meet real life preferences. I love roleplaying but that's taking it a bit far, I think.
I thought the whole argument was silly and I just wanted to drop it.

You can't spell Vivienne without classy.
Not sure if this has been discussed before. Been thinking about Vivienne's letter to the ambassador. Worth discussing.
Some points:
+ It appears this letter was written after the veil has been breached.
+ By "wars", she is implying that there is more than 1 war, i.e. mage v templar, Celene v Gaspard, any more?
+ "the end is upon us", that bad yet she is calm and hosts a party ...
+ Who is the ambassador in question here and the people at the Nevarran embassy?
+ Who is Comtesse Montbelliard?
My dear ambassador,
I don't believe we've met, so allow me to introduce myself. I am First Enchanter Vivienne, enchanter to the Imperial Court of Orlais, personal advisor to the Empress.
A rumor has reached my ears that you plan on attending the salon held at the duke's summer estate three weeks hence. I'm certain this rumor must be a scandalous falsehood, Ambassador, as neither you nor anyone else from the Nevarran embassy has been issued an invitation. As host of the party, I trust you did not intend to crash it like some unwashed workman drunk on three tankards of ale and a dare.
I know you are only seventy-third in line for the Nevarran throne, but that is hardly so lowly a position as to relegate you to trailing after Comtesse Montbelliard in the hope that she might give your suit a moment's thought. She won't, my dear. She only likes men with self-respect. Perhaps you might sober up and acquire some?
I'm sure I don't have to tell you, Ambassador, that the world has become a dangerous place. Wars rage across the continent, the sky is torn open, and many say the end of the world is upon us. During such chaotic times, it behooves those of us in power to aid in the restoration of peace and the establishment of order. Lives have already been lost; should we not save those we can? In that spirit, I give you this friendly warning: I am not to be trifled with. I would not be in a rush to hasten my own demise if I were you, darling. If the demons have their way, it will come soon enough.
Most sincerely,
Madame de Fer

It is after the Breach. 'Wars' could also include 'demons vs. everyone'.
The party mentioned in the letter is likely the one Vivienne throws for the Inquisition so there's a pretty good reason for hosting one (i.e., she really wants to join the Inquisition so wants to impress the Inquisitor). We don't know anything about the people mentioned in the letter. It seems like this ambassador guy wishes to court Comtesse Montbelliard and will likely cause a scene (which is something Vivienne, who is looking to impress the Inquisitor at her party, doesn't want).
Maybe he'll show up in game at the party anyway? That could be entertaining.
When was the letter first posted? I've only just seen it.
Or was it part of the leak?

It was posted during Follower Friday back in March.
oic. Hiding on the bottom of the interview page. Sneaky Vivienne.

So the inquisition would be guest of honor, how does she get access to the Dukes summer estate? She must be really close to Celene to get access. Which leads to another point, does this mean Celene is around?
Should the ambassador show up, that would make things interesting, chance for a cut scene to show Vivienne in action.
Given Vivienne's view on fashion, I wont be surprised (happy) if we are required to turn up wearing something other armor.
Depending on when the letter is written and what the state of the Inquisition is by the time we meet Vivienne this could be the Inquisition's coming out party.
Considering that Vivienne wants to join the Inquisition to advance her own ambitions, having a drunken Nevarran ambassador who could cause a scene might throw a wrench in those plans.
Given this is Orlais, the ambassador may be offended and try to ruin the party. I remember one of the BioWare images asking us to spot the assassin (I'll find it) ...
Could it be this Party http://bit.ly/1jdXAUx ? Although this party occurs in the winter palace:

I'm not sure. I kind of doubt Celene will show up at that point...she seems busy ![]()
It seems like Celene respects Vivienne greatly but I don't know who she'd have get permission from to use the estate (probably the Duke).

I imagine the Inquisitor would dress appropriately. This is something Josephine would help you with.

She could have contacts from within. We're talking Vivienne, after all.
Those guards next to Celene are wearing that Lion armor from DA2 ![]()
*cough..*cough*
I wonder how well Viv and Morrigan get along what do you guys think about those two friends or rivals?
Rivals.
Morrigan is an apostate, which Vivienne won't like, and Vivienne is essentially an Orlesian noble, which Morrigan won't like.
