Hm, gotta disagree on that. We had Wynne and Bethany as a companions and a bunch of circle-loyal ones (even including Orsino and his men) through the series. And Anders as anti-circle mage on the other hand. Morrigan I don't count because she's kinda special and off-limits. 

 

Wynne and Bethany might have been pro-circle but beyond that they were nothing like Vivienne. Vivienne appears to be aggressively pro-circle, or at least she is quite fond of the power and privilege the system has brought her. The Circle was her social ladder. Wynne cared for neither of those things and was rather grandmotherly, and Bethany only desired the safety and security of a life where she was no longer on the run.

Agreed. Vivienne is most likely will not be like Bethany and Wynne when it comes to being pro-Circle. It remains to see why Vivienne is pro-Circle and what she gets out of being pro-Circle.

I had no idea Indira Varma is voicing Viv. Great casting. I've always liked liked her in shows and such (Rome was especially good).

Ooooo, According to Wikipedia, Indirna will be playing Miriam in Exodus: Gods and Kings. As a lover of the Exodus story to begin with, I was going to be seeing that film anyway, but now I have another reason. Miriam is awesome, and I think Indirna will do her justice. Don't know if the script will, though.
