Considering I own have all the games and dlc for the pc I'd say no. But when last gen becomes obselete i could see  bioware/ea releasing the triology remasterd.

Only if they change these two things:

1. If I can get into Kaidan's pants as maleShep throughout the trilogy

2. Change the ending where you punch the starkid until he calls off the attack.

Punching a hologram

Yeah, that will make things better.

No, I played the heck out of the trilogy already, and I'm not really a sucker for fancy graphics anyway.

There will be an upgrade to your blade that allow you to punch hologram. What? It's sci-fi.

If they are sold separately, so I can purchase number 1 and 2 without worrying about wasting my money on three again. Then sure.

No. While I enjoyed the story I can't imagine suffering through ME1s gameplay again even if it had slightly improved graphics and I already played through ME3 twice, which is about as many as I get for games I really like these days.

That's unlikely, it's most likely going to be sold like the the trilogy collection with all three games in one package.

Only IF.....

  • ME1 had improved textures and used gameplay mechanics & character models from ME2/ME3
  • The Mako didn't control like a beach ball on a windy day, and both the Mako & the Hammerhead had armor thicker than tissue paper.
  • They completely redid ME3's story from the ground up and used Drew Karpyshyn's "Dark Matter" plot.

Then YES, I would definitely buy it.

But since that will never happen, then f*** NO!

Its good thing that will never happen since the so called "dark energy plot" makes no sense and had no build up what-so-ever (it was only mentioned about four times in all of ME2 and three of them are in optional missions). The reapers build try to stop the spread of dark energy yet they build the mass relay's which generate even more dark energy thus making the problem even worse, and also the idea of how human genetic diversity (when human's are in fact not genetically diverse) is the key to solving the dark energy problem which is rather ridiculous.

Since I have all of them with all the possible(legally) dlc then I dont see why I should bother. Also I dont have a ps4 or xbone so its a moot point for now. But if I had the only reason to buy a remastered trilogy for ps4 would be only if they add so much content and change the last 15-20 minutes of the game that is would be considered a new canon. Also possibly unifying the gameplay so all three games have ME3 style combat with some changes to the gun customization.

Only if they change the ending.

Seeing as how it's been two years since ME3's release that's not going to happen.

Even if it is all three packed into one, that's still Mass Effect 1 remastered AND Mass Effect 2 remastered for one $60, as opposed to paying two $60 for 1 and 2 separately

What did you expect? Bioware clearly stated they were done with the endings after the EC.

Yes, if

...it's all three games with HD makeover, and includes all DLC, and is $60, ...

The ME Trilogy games are one of my most favorite games ever, so having an excuse to play them again, this time on PS4, with all DLC, would be faboulous. I'd also like to get into the ME3 multiplayer.

Without DLC it would be a no buy, though.

Please make it happen... :)

Yea after about 10 playthroughs from 1-3 with texture hd mods/nividia inspector there's little point for me personally to purchase a remastered trilogy set on pc.

There really isn't a point for a remastered edition as the games aren't that old. Mass Effect 1 is a little dated, but mods on PC can easily make it look more representable and on par with Mass Effect 2. I wouldn't want something like this to be considered unless it's handled like the Halo: CE Anniversary and The Master Chief Collection. 343 isn't giving major facelifts unless it's the 10th year anniversary of the specific game (this year is Halo 2). That is reasonable considering Halo 2 came out two generations ago and is in desperate need of a facelift. I also wouldn't expect DLC to be included as the games are still relatively recent (ME2 is four years old and ME3 is two) and EA will want to continue selling them separately as long as they can.

Yes definitely and in a heartbeat. It's one of the only reasons I'm keeping my 360 at the moment and enhanced visuals are always a bonus.

Sure. Hopefully the additional RAM on PS4 would fix the PS3's stability issues.

Absolutely. These are games (of which there are few) that I will definitely be wanting to play again at certain intervals over the next few years. Kind of like how I always re-read Lord of the Rings once every couple of years, I'll want to experience my favorite trilogy of games at least every couple of years, as well. I'm not going to get into the whole PC vs console argument, but I prefer to play my games on consoles, so I very much want a remastered Mass Effect trilogy for next gen systems.

And yes, I'd be very surprised if all the DLC wasn't included with it.
