If the next gen "remaster" is real would you buy it?

If the next gen remaster is real...
... money cannot leave my wallet fast enough.
If they have multiplayer manifest import. If not... the money will leave slightly slower.
Dammit. I am weak.

Maybe. I still own all three games plus DLC on my 360, I don't think I'd jump just for 1080p and 60 fps.

With all DLC and some new things added into MP?

So long as it included all DLC.

With all DLCs and MP support? Yes, I would buy it.

If it came with all of the DLC, the games had improved graphics and whatnot, and we could transfer our character progression over (Xbox 360 to Xbox One for example)then yes, I would buy it immediately. I would still buy it even if the last one didn't happen, but it would be nice. By the time I would get back to where I was, I would have finished playing the next ME. ![]()

Or if they did, they would wait a lot longer than 2 years after the last game in the trilogy came out. If something like this where to happen, it wouldn't be for several years.
But the Last of us remastered exists.
And yes, I would pre order it.

There are loads of "remasters"... Borderlands, Saints Row, Sleeping Dogs off the top of my head.
I'm not normally one for remasters as I usually see them as cheap money-grab, but I would buy the ME trilogy remaster quicker than Wrex could say "Shepard".

A remaster would be a good idea several years down the line to accompany the trilogy edition of ME4-6 or something like that, but it's not really worth doing right now since it wouldn't really be all that different from the games as they are now. It could be something targeted at people who got into the series with the new trilogy but don't want to deal with the more dated aspects of the originals, not the existing fans who have already played through the first three games many times and have had their fill of it.

So we have a Halo MCE, God of War 3, Gears of War, GTA5, and Last of Us remastered games. Still so where is ME trilogy?

I'd definitely buy it for my PC. Having just gotten back into the PC gaming world, I've been actually wanting to play a remastered version of the trilogy on my new hardware.
Even more of a bonus if they had new achievements! I'm an achievement junkie.
Achievement-Vorcha.

I'd consider it if and only if it comes with all the dlc (including pinnacle station which ps3 never got) and maybe something like a developer commentary or something (like the ending)
Now? No. After Mass Effect 4 and they drop the ball on the MP like DAMP did? I probably would buy it tbh. As good as it is and as much play time as I would get out of it would be well worth it over the years. I probably wouldn't get it when it was brand new. I would expect it to be broken and full of bugs being a Bioware game these days.

I don't support remastered games
Not even if it's my beloved mass effect.

Depends on the package but probably yes.
I don't expect them to change endings or import old games to Frostbite engine etc since it is unrealistic.
But as long as it has all DLC, a HD texture overhaul, a few bonuses (like OST, interviews, art books) and ME3 MP then yeah why not?
PS: ME 1 needs massive work on gameplay though.

No unless they add a non released single player dlc with story ramifications played through the series 10+ times on pc no less not a whole lot you can give me in a remaster, as graphics mean nothing to me (seriously i cant tell the difference between 720 and 1080 bad eyes) Thats not bio-wares fault though i wouldn't buy a remaster of any game i have played already
Edit: acually would totally pay full price for remakes of some ps1.n64 games and kotor/a finished kotor2

In regards to the MP, I'd be happy if they just opened up the weekend challenges again and this time kept them going for more than just one year.
I'd buy this remaster regardless if the MP changes or not. I just want all the DLC included

I truly believe that there will be a remastered xbox one and ps4 trilogy. I and believe it will include important story DLC such as Arrival, Lair of the Shadow Broker, and From The Ashes.
