Basicly it expands the backstory of Revan a bit by introducing a former padawan of His, named Seviole.
What happen was that you learn about her existence at Jedi Academy about Krath, mysterious attacks and potential connection to the slave market. You will meet her at a Tatioone Catina and you, her and a teenager she befriended fight off a squad of Krath Assassins. Then she explains why she is at Archorhead and she tells you about a old Rakata temple in the Dune Sea. Well you can ask her about her relationship about Revan and you learn about an Jedi Shadow turned Krath High Priest named G'nar. She tells the story how her and Revan expose his crimes against the Jedi Order and his turning to the Dark Side. Yes you can talk to her teenage Friend, His name is Wedge and his role is to search for his parents and one of them is a latent Force sensitive. Well in order to visit The Rakata Temple to know why the Krath is having a base there. During the Trip there, you can influence Wedge to become either a Jedi Guardian or Jedi Sentinel due to his high intelligence, high strength and good combat skills.
After a fierce battle at the old Rakata Temple, you will find plenty of Krath Robes, Sith Robes and Jedi Robes, New crystals, Krath weapons(including Melee weapons, lightsabers and others) and some Krath armors and Krath Upgrades. And you learn that Krath are looking for the Star Forge and assassinating both Jedi, Sith and other force adepts and converting some of them. Well you do find the remains of Wedge's parents. Also there is two bases; one is on Manaan and another is at the Kayyyhsk.
Well Hk-47 and Canderous has sidequest in the new areas of Shadowlands and both of them have to deal with the Taung Mandalorian that claims to be the New Mandalore(it is the same Mandalore that Hk-47 was supposed to kill) and rebuilding his clan to start another Mandalorian war with the Krath help. Between you, Canderous, Hk-47 take on this Mandalore while Seviole and Wedge disable their droids. Yes there are new insights within about the Mandalorians and the Mandalorian Wars.
At Manaan, You, Seviole and T3-M4 are looking into a series of Assassinations against both Sith and Republic Forces. Well the Krath posing as a New and Peaceful Religion on Manaan in order to both spy and assassinate their enemies. And Your goal is to connect the dots before the Krath use the Selkath Authorities arrest you. After you completed Shadowland,Tatioone Rakata Temple, Manaan's quests and Post Revelation Scene, it will unlock the world that Yuthura comes from and I can't spell right now.
Well You, Seviole and The remaining Ebon Hawk crew visit there. Between Seviole, Canderous and Hk-47's knowledge of this world does play into a great deal with this planet. There is a large tournament where you can meet Deadeye Duncan again for a depressing moment and you talk everyone into letting him join despite he sucks compared to you and the rest of the crew comes to combat. You and Deadeye Duncan join the Tournament for back to back badass moments and yes there is a huge and scary adult rancor(you can choose to spare it and it will return later). Well While You and Deadeye Duncan are in the Tournament, winning all of the matches. Seviole, Canderous, Wedge and T3-M4 go thru the dungeons where G'nar keeps his pets and slaves. Well There were signs of abuse of all stripes on the pets and the slaves and G'nar's hutt lover. Yes G'nar is a very depaved Omnisexual. Well Seviole and the others freed the slaves and The Hutt wants G'nar dead as well. Seviole and you reunite before the final moment against G'nar. Well she confess that G'nar raped her master and attempted to rape her as well. Well The Entire Ebon Hawk, you, Seviole, Wedge and Deadeye Duncan fight a brutal battle against G'nar. If you spared the Rancor, you can have the options to feed G'nar to the Rancor. There are other options including setting G'nar on Fire, Dismemberment, Impalement, other fun but violent options. Then Seviole, Wedge and Deadeye Duncan can join your crew if you want too.
