David Gaider mentioned something on twitter about a romance chart, admitting that he didn't have a say in whether or not to actually post something like a chart, but he thought it'd be a good idea.
I can't help but get behind Gaider and support the suggestion. Anyone else on board for a posting of a romance/LI chart complete with race and (possible) class gates?
I would very much like to see The Chart, but I don't think there's any chance we'll see it before they've announced who all the romance options actually are. We only know for sure about Cassandra, Cullen and Sera at the moment. (I mean, we can infer that Dorian is one as well, but they haven't actually confirmed that.)
Solas hasn't been officially presented yet, and we don't even have a real name for Scribbles. I think it may be a while before they even consider giving us all the necessary information

I am not a fan of releasing the chart. I am of the believe not everything should be made known before anyone can actually play the game. I already think Bioware some times releases way too much information about their games. Yes, I understand enough people don't care but I still don't think that is a good reason to just release a chart like this.

I don´t see a problem with the chart. If you don´t want spoilers don´t look at it and go of the form.
Andraste_Reborn, why would they bother confirming Dorian as gay if he is not a romance. Do you have any idea how pissed off everyone would be at Bioware for doing a bait and switch like that? It wouldn't be just gay people pissed off about that kind of bad joke that's for sure.
I'd love this since I like plan my playthroughs before hand (not all that I will do but LI's and what my quizzy supports and is against). When I played ME1-3 I took look at their wiki's romance charts a lot. If I don't know how I can romance when playing there is really big change I end up romancing no one. In DA2 I though I did something wrong and Fenris left me for real so I moved on to Anders in my first playthrough. If I would have known I wouldn't have done it. So yep I want romance info so I won't **** up XD

I don't think they would. I'm sure he's a romance - but it's not official until someone from BioWare says that he is.
I dunno, I think he is pretty much confirmed if DG felt the need to comment on Dorian's sexuality. It wasn't needed to convince us on him being a rebel to what the Tevinter Imperium currently is for example.
I wish the chart would be revealed. So I don't spend a goo chunk of the game trying to romance someone who I can't. With certain character being gated by their race, it would really be a let down to try to romance them, find out I can't, and then have missed the opportunity to romance someone else.

Yeah, I get that people might reveal spoilers if it gets released, but frankly, I don't see why people who don't want to be spoiled feel like they should get priority over people who do want to be spoiled. If you don't want to be spoiled, there comes a point when you need to step away from BSN because spoilers will abound. That's just kind of how the internet works.

I agree with this 100%. I'm sure that he's the gay romance, but technically he's not confirmed. Just like Iron Bull isn't confirmed. However, when the devs highlight a character's sexuality in their pre-release interviews, it does tend to suggest that those characters will be romanceable, especially given that Bioware knows their audience and knows that the BSN will pick apart every word and relate it back to romance in some way.....

"Pretty much confirmed" =/= confirmed, though. Those are two completely different things......

Yeah, I don't think even the Dread Gaider would tell us Dorian is gay and then go "oh, did you think he was a romance option? Sorry, he's already got a husband." That would be too much trolling even for BioWare.
I think it's possible Iron Bull will be a casual fling rather than a full romance, but I doubt they'd have told he he sleeps with everyone if they didn't intend "everyone" to include at least a subset of Inquisitors.

He's "more confirmed" than Iron bull, since Gaider said he wrote two companions and two romances, and we know he wrote Cassandra and Dorian.

Lol. That's like being "more pregnant". Something is either confirmed or not. In this case, the only confirmed romances are Cassandra (sexuality unconfirmed), Cullen (sexuality unconfirmed), and Sera (f/f only). That's it. The rest is speculation.
Look, I'm as inclined as everyone else to assume that Dorian and Iron Bull are LI's, but neither are confirmed. That's kind of an undeniable fact.
Yeah show it so people can plan there runs.

I'd rather they just gradually slip out screenshots of people snogging each other until we can fill in our own chart
