Yes you can. I'll be playing at 1080p NOT 800p (well, when I'm playing on my TV, if I'm playing it on my monitor it'll be 1440p). I'l, be playing in full graphics settings, not medium and some low. And I'll ALSO be playing on my couch and on a TV (you can do that with a PC too, you know...).

It's amazing how many still believe that stuff even in 2014. "Have fun putting 3000$ on your PC just to get that 60 FPS", "Sorry , I like my controller better", "I like to play on my couch and on my TV, thanks", "How does it feel having to upgrade every month?". And then my favorite "I'd rather not spend months to find a fix for my game and get it working, I just want to install the game and play".

Someone mentionned it, but the modding component is something I find very attractive. I'm not very good at it, but I find that the community of BioWare fans are quite good and have given new life to my second and third playthroughs

 

So far modding is not possible with the engine DA:I runs on ... yet

Cant afford a next gen as of now , nor the near future , my laptop no longer runs games as it should ( heck it runs transistor/ Dead Space 3 terribly and Im supposed to have the requirements to run them) so pc version would be unplayable for me , so my only option is PS3 :/

Okay i gotta ask, whats stopping you from sitting on a couch while playing on PC?

Nah. I'll play on PS4 first. Next playthroughs will be on PC. I'm a PC guy but now I'm growing on using controllers. And that 'PC Master Race' word is disgusting. All I care about is understanding stories and enjoying gameplay. I don't waste my time on the internet shouting "PC!, PC!".

Pff, couch. Friend of mine had his monitor, keyboard and mousepad attached to a hydraulic arm above his bed.  When he wanted to play, one push of a button moved the monitor and input devices to a comfortable position.
