Depends.  I'm looking for some kind of official word on whether there will be any possibility for modding in DA:I.  If there is, then PC, if there isn't then probably PS4.  I've been meaning to get my PC repaired for awhile and this game will be the push I need.

PC; simply do not have the reflexes recommended for the majority of console games. It is mostly RPG's for me.

The word has been: highly unlikely that there will be any official modding support. 

 

I'm fairly certain though that modders will find a way, regardless.

I play games exclusively on the PC, but unlike my brethren, I find the use of the term "PC Master Race" offensive and puerile. Consoles are no better or worse. It is simply a matter of preference.

 

Lately, the number of people playing on PC who seem to have bloated egos has increased substantially, and we aren't doing so good.

Just an observation, PC gamers have an advantage when it comes to higher resolution, cheap games sometimes, and also possibility of modding. While console gamers enjoy the advantage of having exclusive AAA titles.

It's a trade off, as an ex PC gamer I missed out a lot of games because of this.

I prefer to have a bigger games library than to get caught up in the hype.

I disagree... well not about the silly moniker, I agree with that. But PC is all about options, and options is always better than no options, IMHO.

There is no way in heck that consoles have a larger library, or a larger number of exclusives than PC.

 

The number of AAA exclusives are tiny. They are basically first party only titles (every third party outside Japanese ones releases on PC, and even that's changing), that come out once, maybe twice a year, and for which you'd have to own at least 2 consoles to play.

 

I'll take a Total War or a To the moon, or a Gone home, or a Pillars of Eternity over an The Order, any day of the week.

Just like the "Cult of the Katana" drove me away from collecting Japanese swords, the "PC Gaming Master race" which was actually originally started by Benjamin 'Yahtzee' Croshaw as an ironic stab at PC culture and later adopted to literally reflect a person's self worth as a human being by people who couldn't fulfill their egos in other ways, drives me further and further away from the PC scene.

 

So you let what people say on the Internet influence your decisions?
