Probably prisoners/puppets of Corypheus or Flemeth.

 

The only connection between the two are Corypheus (fighting Hawke, then sneaking into the Wardens) and Flemeth from what I recall.

 

Perhaps the Warden found Corypheus out, contacted Hawke, then something went wrong and they are captured, and somehow word of the problem gets to the Inquisition and then we have the Inquisition fighting the GWs.

LoL only two what with same 100 characters they have meet?

Not mention that my warden told wardens they can have good time just without him.

Leliana is looking for them, so doubtful she is responsible for their disappearance.

Zevran can be killed by Warden and so Hawke never meets him.

 

I think Corypheus and Flemeth are the only real suspects if someone is responsible for their disappearance that we know of.

 

Maybe Corypheus wants the Hero of Fereldan under his control for more influence and since the Warden is still tainted, Corypheus thinks he has a good shot at controlling the Warden, idk, it's just a guess.

Bioware said they both have big roles so that alone has got me intrigued. My canon Warden romanced Morrigan and had a child with her and went into the eluvian. So I'm guessing they are raising their child together and then my Warden went MIA. My Hawke was with Isabella probably sailing the seas together till he went MIA. Who knows what roles they have but we know that Bioware has something big in store for them.

Well if that was Corry he would want hero of ferelden in posistion of power rather than just disappearance.And i rly hope that "control over your taint" potion will give some results. 

 

I don't know about flemeth but last time i checked my warden destroyed her.

Only because of the lack of save-imports and only being able to use the Keep. I'd be uncomfortable with having to play my Warden and my Hawke with full armour on all the time to hide their looks.

Keep in mind, if you went into the eluvian, that could very well be the disappearence of the warden that Leliana and the seeker are referring to. Ofcourse if you didn't the only thing that Bioware would have to do to compensate is insert a couple lines of dialogue.

 

Whether or not they actually appear however is a different story. If it were up to me I would definitely include a character creator in the keep. I would be overjoyed to recreate my characters, but the presence of the creator would completely ruin the surprise. Imagine a pop up come up " If you're warden was still alive, not saying he/she is BUT, what would he/she look like?" Like how would they even implement that without spoiling it? So what's the lesser of two evils? Make the warden but ruin the surprise, or have the surprise, but have the warden covered up? and Hawke too, but let's be honest, the warden is the real star here lol

I would like an update on my former protagonists, yes we put time into how they acted and their personality but for me I'd like to see how they are doing or even taw control of them briefly

I'd be surprised to see a CC in the keep. It seems like a lot of work for what would likely amount to a short appearance. If they are alive and shown, I'd be okay with a helmeted appearance.

 

Nevertheless, I'm also excited to see how they fit into Inquisition.

Helmeted/hooded people who we never hear speak but see at the Keep briefly after uncovering the reasons for their disappearance, speaking to Leliana or anyone else who's relevant, before leaving and we later hear about them doing stuff in other countries.

 

Boom. You'd have to be very picky about your headcanon to actually be bothered by that.

In my ideal game import I would guess that the warden from Origins would still be with Morrigan, and be Mr. Mom with the OGB. Hawke would be with Isabela and join her on her ship, ideally having a pirate life with plundering and buried treasure.

I was playing through Origins today, and did the Unbound quest. And Gaxhang has a line where he says "eyes are on you from a very high vantage, Grey Warden"

 

When I think about that and some of the happenings in The Masked Empire, and theories on who our Big Bad is based on that book...it wouldn't surprise me if our Big Bad is interested in the Warden and Hawke. 

 

And maybe that's why they both disappeared...tho that kind of just makes me think we'll find them dead.

They'll almost certainly be mentioned/discussed, but I would be surprised if either character actually showed up in the game. The Keep isn't going to let you re-create your Warden's/Hawke's face on the Frostbite engine, so unless they wear a helmet that covers their entire face....

That'd be cool if the keep gave you the option to create their looks. I doubt it'd happen...like..at all.

 

I don't know how they'll mention them though. Personally, I feel like their stories are over so I don't necessarily care either way. With that said, I wonder if it'll be fluid and not feel forced or awkward (like hiding their faces behind helmets).

They already said there is no CC in the keep in interview about keep only basic stuff like class or gender.
