I have made some .tga Picture files for custom Portraits, but as yet no one can seem to be sure as to what I should do with them with regards to where they go and what file needs to be edited.

Because I am using a futuristic setting, would be nice if I had some custom portraits to really bring out the RP elements in not only player but NPC characters

Anyone know what I need to do?

- Please let me know

For NPCs or creatures, you can just shove them anywhere in a HAK file, override folder, or campaign folder, and they'll show up in-game.

For portraits that players can use, they have to be in the "portraits" folder in the override folder. If a player wants to change their portrait, they can open up their character sheet and double-click on the existing portrait (which by default will be dynamically generated based on what they're wearing at any given moment).

Nope. Any old name will do. I'd avoid having spaces in the names though (underscores work fine).
