Been a fan of BW since forever. I pre order the CE of every game. Sure, I was wary about buying the CE at first due to the fact that this game was so massive I was really worried the plot and dialogue would be second to the gameplay and visuals but the evidence points to that not being the case.

So, yeah. I pre ordered the CE of Inquisition when I found out about it.

Definitely buying it.  The only question for me is which platform I am buying it on.  Want to get for Xbox one but if I can't upgrade to the newer console by the time it comes out I still have the option of picking it up for the 360

I'm probably one of the few people who had absolutely no problems with ME3 (I actually liked it better than ME2) and very few (albeit major) problems with DAII.

So I've already ordered the deluxe edition. Normally I'm not a fan of preorders... but I already know I'm buying it unless it's revealed that doing so will burn down my house and kill my family, so I may as well get some bonuses for it.

i'm not sure yet. it's not like i have some bigass expectations, and i'm kind of used to being disappointed (being gamer for 20 years or so, seeing favourite franchises dying on all sorts of causes, crying, swearing). but either i'm getting old or the games in general are becoming too silly (fetch-like side quests; an ability is scripted, therefore usable only in few places, the game is oblivious and doesn't recognize your actions, enemies always spawn in designated areas, there's nothing random about it) and simple (press x to kill the army of bad guys using OP ability, big "GO THAT WAY cuz reasons" and "I'm the questgiver, talk to me" or "you have to go HERE to do quest, no need to read journals or listen to people" signs) for my tastes. which is funny, cuz when i put a cd with an ancient game into the drive i'm f..n impressed and immersed thoroughly. new games have better graphics or combat animation... but why everything else must become so shallow?

there are few notable exceptions of recent games where devs have actually pushed the limits and given players something truly unique (i couldn't care less about romances and character creators). i really do hope DA:I will be one of those. we'll see in October, won't we?

Yes, the game looks very promising. Put this with the lengthy dev time, more activity from the team this time and the fact that DAI is getting a massive collectors edition shows that both EA and Bioware are not concerned of it's quality(unlike DA2 that only got a signature edition which set off massive warning bells)

Whatever it's good or not, people will still complain about it though, this is a Bioware game post EA, someone will find something to complain.

Probably, as long as it doesn't ship with game breaking bugs like other EA titles have recently.

Exactly people will complain which is why I don't think it is a good idea for anyone to wait to buy the game based on user reviews. I am certain many users will rate DAI as low as possible for minor issues or simply because it is trendy to hate on Bioware and EA. The only way to judge a game fairly is to judge the game yourself without the baggage of disappointment for previous games. I believe that most people who can't stop talking about their disappointment in previous Bioware games and who right now don't trust them likely won't change their mind on the game at release. Some may have to come to terms with the fact they have already made up their minds and nothing can change this, unless the game miraculously is universally loved which it won't be, not with today's gamer expectations.

A "bad" bioware game still tends to rate above a 'good' game from most other sources.    A lot of the complaining you see about games anymore is just standard fare from the same defunct group of people that tend to hate everything.

DA2 was only a disappointment to me in that it fell far below the bar set by Origins (probably THE single best game ever made IMO).   However, it was still a 'good' game by any other standard.    While I was disappointed by the "Ending out of nowhere" of ME3, again... it was a stellar game that I have enjoyed playing many times.

So far, YES... Bioware is one of the handful companies out there that I still trust enough to pre-order their games.    There will likely be some portion or aspect of the game that I won't like, but the games themselves are extremely enjoyable as a whole.

Even if it's not what I expect, so far it looks better and far more interesting than any other game coming out this year - at least to me.

So I pre-ordered last week. I get a kick out of seeing it there in my games list in Origin.

I haven't preordered yet but eventually will.  I was incredibly disappointed with not being able to get the Inquisitors Edition due to being sold out, hence my delay so far.

I'm (hopefully) getting the Inquisitors Edition for my birthday. Not sure if it includes the pre order bonuses though..
