My theory is that they were in the fade which wouldnt kill them in reality but if not then she's just unconscious.

 

I dont see why they'd kill off a major character at E3 before the games release

It's definitely not the fade as you see the Quzzy repeatedly closing rips in the veil.

Rips in the veil are portals between the two worlds, meaning they'd be in the fade

No one but I'd rather not get trapped in the fade by closing it from inside and nothing in the scenery indicates fade.

We've also only ever seen what rips look like in Thedas never from the fade.

I believe nobody died in that scene. Gaider said it will make more sense when we play it so don't jump to conclusions.

Yes. Before ME came out, they had public demos where Wrex died.

Am I the only person who noticed that the first time I watched it, unusual. thats a first, but still. it was interesting and the developers did confirm you can tackle the final mision with only one squad member alive.

It looks like ME2 suicide mission - brought the wrong people... or IB isn't there so he was right but Sera can't do close combat.

your right, doubt she'll be decent in close range combat. I'm always trying to get the best combination for my followers.

Well they said that you can end only with 1 companion left but because they can leave you which will be hard to achieve because it will require acting like schizophrenic.

 

I rather doubt that companions will have smuch much effect you will rather get that no matter what unless there is other result but that will be depend on something else than companions.

 They said it would take acting like a Schizo to make all the companions leave, it is actually not that hard to make some companions leave if you don't take their beliefs into consideration.

 

 

This is the showdown in Redcliff castle, they are trying to use the Magister's amulet to seal or open something or some such.

 

Sera is just KO'd.  If she was dead she would have been turned into a demon skin skeleton monster thingy already.  At the very least there would be blood.

Thanks for bringing this topic up. When I first saw it I wasn't too sure if that was Sera or some elven servant/mercenary.

Hopefully she don't die....then again Bioware loves killing companions prematurely :-/

I would assume iron bill being not there meant they just didn't want to drag him. After all if he was still alive and fighting how did they get in?

Well, the demon is a servant of the Venatori, and the Venatori could use them as a bargaining tool.
