The problem is those types of posts exist in a social context where violence against women is all too real. These sorts of posts at best trivialise or make fun of women's experiences at worst they justify them. Either way it is pretty bad.
I understand your position, but again - I think you're taking that post too seriously, that's just my perspective and not what the thread is about.

The posts on this thread talking about killing Leliana for flirting or even sleeping with another character are incredibly misogynist. Women are killed frequently by domestic violence. In Australia (and I am guessing other countries) the highest percentage of people who kill women are their spouses. It isn't funny and it is a sick fantasy. Women are not property of "their" men and they have every right to leave a relationship or want to change the nature of their relationships without the threat of violence.
Every previous LI has had posts like this said about the possibility of them "cheating" with a new hero not just Leliana.
While true and unfortunate I hope you do realize the opposite can and does happen.
And neither are men property of "their" women and are entitled to the same rights to leave a relationship if they wish. Also while women and men have the right to want to change the nature of their relationships their partners also have every right to be upset with them if they do so without their consent.

Well to be honest i would be fine peoples change and leliana most certainly did so i wouldn't mind for my warden broke up with her after all she isn't same person she was in dao (of course i can speak only for my warden).
I honestly couldn't see it happening. I think she's become celibate now, regardless of whether or not she was in love with the Hero of Ferelden.
She is the only pretty female in the game. And she is not romanceable. Thats all a have to say. #frustration

As far as she's concerned, the Warden's probably been dead for ten years, since even if she/he lived they disappeared. How could you get mad at someone who moved on after that much time?

Considering she says the Warden is dear to her heart years after Origins, and considering we don't know if she and the Warden never once met at any point between DA:2 and Inquisition, I wouldn't say it's likely she believes the Warden to be dead. Wasn't her whole purpose of helping the Inquisition being to find the Warden, if she was romanced, to both gain the aid of the Warden against the demonic forces and to also be reunited with her lover?
I probably wouldn't mind her hitting on my Inquisitor, but my Warden Rogue would sob profusely, then kick Leliana in the shin, then sob some more. Having her as an option only if she was left unromanced, or was romanced and then hardened (since she gladly got into a threeway if hardened, she probably would've moved on from the Warden by now), that'd be fine.

I didn't know that moving on after 10 years of never seeing your lover and not knowing his whereabouts with a high probability of never meeting him again because of his illness is "dumping him". Plus Leliana isn't the girl next door, she is a spy of questionable morals and a mission to fulfill.

Well you could have said it that way rather than essentially 'he/she will be dead soon.'
And we have no idea what happened in those 10 years.

I kinda liked her 'hardened' personality from Origins, she more-or-less understood that her visions from the maker were no more than illusions and that her original attitudes were naive/childish.
If she ends up back as a blind zealot... Well, lets just say she is going to get all the hard missions.

Yeah...can we be a bit reasonable here? It's not like the Warden put down a flag down there. I mean imagine the world if one wasn't allowed to seek out a new relationship once an old ended...that would be messed up.
Well, I'd be flattered, as long as she wasn't the Leliana who romanced my Warden. Depending on my relationship status at the point in the game, I might flirt back!

I wouldn't be worried. My Warden cheated on her with Morrigan (or was it the other way around? It was so long ago), so, you know, whatever. Fair's fair.
My Inquisitor won't reciprocate her feelings, though. I'm not really interested in any of the ladies of DAI, and besides, I'm thinking of playing my Saarebas as a little more celibate than say, Iron Bull. I've done the sarcastic ladie's man with both Hawke and my Warden, I think it's time I changed things up a little.
