Fine and my Warden would be fine too considering he was never involved with her. In fact, My Inquisitor would invite him around to help him with Leliana...

Inquisitor: "Go on Warden, you're the chosen one..."

But in all seriousness, I hope they don't make her flirt with the Inquisitor if she was romanced by the Warden. It'd just feel like petty drama for drama's sake in an attempt to shock old fans.

Bioware forums, where a girl can't have her fun cause of sentimental roleplayers. Boooooooooooooooo.

Leliana being in a relationship with the warden would make flirting all the sweeter.

By the way if she tries to flirt and says "The stars are out" I'm going to punch her in the nose.

We're bad for not wanting her to cheat on the Warden?

Given that Zevran won't accept Isabela's offer if romanced by the Warden, I doubt they'd do that.

No, not bad.

The right word is control freak :P

Romantic couples typically don't want their partner to cheat on them. That's not control-freakiness, it's... common sense. For those who engross themselves in the game, I think they woudn't like seeing their LI start trying to sleep with another character, be it the player or an NPC.

Ah I see, it's common sense to want the person you love to not being able to move on after 10 years of no communication. Totally not control freak.

Also I didn't know that engrossing yourself in a game means you have to play 5 characters from different games simultaneously and base your decisions/feelings on all of them.

Leliana is her own person. If she wants to move on, then she should move on. If she doesn't then she doesn't. This should be a decision the writers do based on who Leliana is or constraints in the game's structure. I don't see why it would be petty drama or why anyone else should have a say in it, even her lover that is nowhere to be found.

Sorry but I can't see what you describe as healthy in this situation.

Edit: Just to make clear, I'm not saying that someone that romanced Leliana shouldn't feel betrayed or anything. If someone feels that way it's not my place to judge and I mostly understand it. But I feel that Leliana moving on would be a good addition to the game, not a bad one.

It's not clear whether what level of contact they had up until this point. They may have not seen one another for the decade, or maybe they had contact. We don't know yet.

Agreed, I shouldn't presume. But still even if they had contact, Leliana doing whatever she likes is fine with me. Not fine with my Warden who romanced her perhaps but that's relevant only if I play the Warden again ^^

What would be hilarious is if she breaks up/ terminates flirting with the inquisitor at some point because the warden comes back. Actually it would be amusing if Bioware starting writing for player characters getting dumped. I wonder if there is an RPG that does it already. It might be ah, therapeutic.

This is an interesting, non-combative topic!

I had a warden romance Leliana-I'd be rather shocked to see Leliana flirt with someone else. As for my warden, if she knew, she'd be taken aback, to say the least. The same would be true for Alistair (though, maybe it would a little more hurtful-lol).

I also had another warden romance Morrigan, but I wouldn't be surprised with her. I'd probably think she's got some sort of little scheme behind her flirtations with the Inquisitor. Or, I'd hope so anyway, she's got a kid with my warden.

No, for presuming it would be cheating as opposed to perfectly viable alternative that old relationship is no longer.

So we're bad for wanting that the Relationship has endured?

What kind of Logic is that?

Don't you know that half the male wardens out their peed all over Leliana to mark their territory. The inquisitor will be repealed by the stench.

Others peed all over Morrigan too, that god baby is her ball and chain should the warden have chosen her.

Property is property. Women aren't allowed to ever leave a man once he has chosen her. But if he wants to leave her, well it's completely fair that he can come and go whenever he pleases. *looks at Jacob in ME3*

Nothing wrong with wanting. But when that wanting makes you decide that, having two options, one meaning the character in question is "cheating on you" and one meaning she isn't, she must be cheating ... that's letting your "wanting" rule over you to the point where you'd rather doubt and slander the character you presumably wanted to have the Relationship with so much, in the first place. And there's nothing good about that.

Pfft, Liara gets bashed all the time but she's still single and trying to get into Shepard's pants in ME3.

Liara and Jacob get bashed for different reasons though. Liara messes with your decisions from ME1. You are forced to be best friends with her even if you don't want to. Garrus gets bashed for this too but he is more likable so fewer people are vocal about him.

Jacob is the game's idiot.

The third option, of course, is that Leliana just wants to flirt a bit after being in a ten year committed relationship with no intention of going anywhere with anything, which is certainly something humans would do. But I would wager that to some, that just counts as cheating anyway.

Quite honestly, I find it hard for the Warden, being the Warden, and Leliana, being the Left Hand of the Divine, would be able to have a relationship, considering they would have been real busy. IF they did/do, it would be real strained right now anyways.
