A Standalone Kirkwall DLC? Or even a full fledged expansion?

If we're going back to the Free Marches in an expansion, I'd rather go to a new city.

I would hate to see the "Enigma of Kirkwall" mystery go in vain, but at the same time I'm not very prone to revisit the city.

They did not. Read Masked empire.

...I don't recall anything about the Enigma of Kirkwall in Masked Empire

Please. No more Kirkwall. I'd rather Starkhaven or Highever.

Kirkwall may be the very reason the veil ripped open. Remember, Tevinter when they owned the place did mass killings just to weaken the veil.

Before we knew otherwise, I was actually suggesting that the start of the game, and the following massive veil tear in the sky, might be in Kirkwall for this very reason.

I wouldn't mind returning to Kirkwall. I'd love to see how the place looks rendered in the new engine. Also some quests wouldn't be bad.

Imshael, A being with no form, and a promise of  planned chaotic events to an unbounded that convinced him to wait and see. Remember that all the hidden history of Kirkwall is connected to the unbounded.

Personally, I wouldn't mind revisiting Kirkwall (I was disappointed that the DA2 expansion was scrapped), but I honestly don't see it happening.  Another Free Marches city, sure (although I don't know how likely that would be either) - but I think we're probably done with Kirkwall.

Honestly, I'd quite like to revisit Kirkwall. However, I think it likely that the Breach was probably what was originally going to occur at the end of the Exalted March expansion, which they then had to fold into DA:I. As such, I don't think we'll revisit it at all, though like leaguer of one said above, the plot threads about the Unbound tied to the Enigma of Kirkwall will likely be one aspect of DA:I, maybe even its primary plot. Regardless, I'm sure Imshael will at least be a super boss to add to Gaxkang and Xebenkeck.

...connected, but I wouldn't call that shedding much light on the mystery at all.

No way in hell am I going back there again...      is what I would usually say but I would like to see a re-imagining of the city on Frostbite. If it's the old Kirkwall, they can shove it in some dark corner, I could care less about that.

Outside of the fact they by be the ones making plans and instigating the open veil. We know they want those old elven mirriors.

...What? Imshael indicated he would enjoy the chaos, but he seemed surprised that it was going to happen. It was Felassan that seemed to know about it.

I'd rather go to Starkhaven or one of the other city-states.

I would love if they release a really cheaply/quickly made Kirkwall DLC using the EXACT same areas and textures from DA2.

If we return to the Free Marches I'd rather see a new city-state, like Starkhaven, Ansburg, or Tantervale.

I think they are going to write Kirkwall out of existence. Like the veil tear there was so severe the city sank into the sea? Something along those lines. Personally I wouldn't want to revisit it. I'd like to see somewhere new. Checking out Sebastian's stomping grounds would be cool.

I'd have just about as much fun with my head in a paper bag.

In other words, sweet baby Jesus, no.
