Anyway it's obviously very tounge-in-cheek here. The humor I've seen is no different than any of the other romance threads *shrugs*.
Jokes aside if he is a romance great if he isn't , yeah it'll be disappointing but he was always a maybe. Regardless, everyone loves Varric romance or no romance.

The Cullen thread frightens me a little bit. I really appreciate their enthusiasm and dedication to the character, but it scares me

I wish the Morrigan thread had their numbers. It's usually just me and about 3-5 other diehard fans going back and forth 
Makes sense though, I suppose. Morrigan's character has been around a lot longer, whereas Cullen and the other companions/advisers are relatively unknown.

Has she had her "big blurb" yet like Sera, Dorian and the others have? There's a chance that she could get her own little quote/article about her like Leliana did. That's probably when her thread will pick up.

Not really. All that we have so far is the Inquisition character profile page, and an article on gameinformer chronicling her involvement in Dragon Age thus far.
Honestly, if any new Morrigan information comes out, I won't even read it. That is the one aspect of the game which I am keepig away from like the plague. I don't want to spoil anything in advance of the game.

She hasn't had a blurb released yet like the most of the rest have. She's a little overshadowed at the moment, but I suspect that will change once her blurb is released.

I think Bioware is keeping silent on Morrigan because they want to avoid giving spoilers.
All of the interviews that I have seen with Cameron, et al. have tip-toed around the topic. When asked about the OGB and her role within the game, they always just say, "The choices that you made in Origins will have an affect on Morrigan's character in game."

If I was to guess, it's probably because her role in the game would be best left as a mystery until it's actually out.
At least, that's what I find.
People are excited about new characters, and characters we have gotten info on. So our poor ol' returning characters don't get as much love usually...but I agree that will probably change when Morrigan gets more info about her role in the game. :3 I've popped in there a few times ~ That aimo comic posted in there is one of my favorite things ever, pretty much.

I think it's a similar case to Varric.
It's not that her fans are minimal or non-existent but we're all pretty familiar with them there isn't much to talk about.
And if one does end up talking about characters we are too familiar with, things have the tendency to get weird hahaha
Personally, I have no issues with spoilers, I am kind of the type who uses walkthroughs to get the best results anyway.

Here's a topic that I find fun, but they dislike me for it. I think it is funny that with each new game Cullen gets a little younger in DAO he looked to be in his 30's, in DA2 her was in his 20's and in DAI he still looks like he is in his 20's. With the changes in the art style Cullen looks to aged backwards 10 years.

I don't consider myself a rival with any of the fan bases. I think it just shows that BioWare keeps doing all these amazing characters for us to love and hate.
