Welp... someone already ruined the Iron Bull thread for me by calling him a "slutty manwhore", because he's bisexual. My buzz is gone. Staying in here with my Varric peeps.

Very much so  I've always been rather indifferent to Cullen as a person, but I find his character arch a bit interesting

The fact that Iron Bull was going to be racegated but is no longer makes me wonder if the remaining two will be racegated, or that what happened with Iron Bull means just one of them of them will.

Edit: Nevermind, it's confirmed that there are two more racegated romances.

In the broken circle quest he lashed out and called you a "cave dwelling heathen" or something like that if you were a dwarf.

 

I don't believe that comment is directed at the Wardern, but at Oghren, who was being a little inappropriate (very shocking), given the situation at the time.

 

I don't think they're going to race-gate Cullen. Right now, the best looking candidates for that are Varric and Vivienne. (I want Solas and Varric so bad I might die QnQ)

Yeah, I saw that. It was a long time since I did my Aeducan play trough and remembered it wrong. Still, calling someone a cave dwelling heathen is bad.

It's kind of a bad sign if someone pisses you off and you insult them because of their race, but that's not a guarantee. And anyway, that was ten years ago, when he was spending his time in a mage tower (and probably hadn't met too many dwarves). No way to tell if he still feels that way.

True. As I said I hope/think he's improved his attitude over the time that has passed.

Varricmancers, if Iron Bull is a love interest for any gender/race - anything is possible.  BW seems to be going a bit off-type in this game so a Qunari and Dwarf romance would be amazing.

Well I'd written Varric off as extremely unlikely. And to be honest, he always kind of faded into the background. Except for my last, aborted playthrough of DA2. At some point in Act 2 after dragging Fenris and Merrill around, Fenris had said something rather cruel to Merrill that left me grumbling "Are there no sane, kind men in Kirkwall?" I dropped off Varric's signet ring and it hit me that there was one, he just wasn't available. So I hope you get what you want. I might even join you.

And Varric romance is exactly the kind of reveal they'd do late.
