Today put me in a great mood with the IB announcement out of the way until a jerk came along and the extra hope it gives for Varric. I'm also so happy to see that everyone is so supportive of each other even if they are wishing for different things. This way I think no matter the news, we'll all be able to be happy for each other.   I should probably peek in the Solas thread myself and offer my support.

Someone in the romance thread mentioned breaking Bianca, which got me thinking, what if Bianca does get smashed at some point in Inquisition? Maybe that's why he can use daggers now, since he needs an alternative weapon for when she's crushed to a million pieces.

Heard about the IB romance. That's exciting! He'll still probably be the third or fourth one I romance (after Dorian and Cullen, and of course the paragon of manliness himself if possible) but I'll looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

 

I wonder if, given the fact that they've said Iron Bull and Varric don't particularly get along, Varric will have anything to say about the Inquisitor romancing him, especially if Varric is friends with the Inquisitor. That could be an interesting scene!

 

Also, man, I miss one day, and this thread explodes! That is majorly awesome!

Edit: I still think that Varric has a chance at being a LI though. Maybe something in the game will happen to where he decides to move on. I would be all for that

He had a scene like that when I romanced Anders, but I think that one gave more of an "are you insane?" vibe.

Varric had that scene even with Izzy and Daisy, who he liked. He knew his friends were crazy, and wanted to make sure they knew what they were getting into .

This has been a theory for me! Maybe that would be a reason to hunt down Bianca, also, to let her fix it?

Yes! I remember the Bella one, as Anders/Bella were my only romances in that game.. did he have one for Fenris too? I'd imagine he would. Varric, being the total best friend gotta love him. My Hawke's mind during the scene: "Well, I would dump him/her for you..."

 

Actually, if we even had the chance to say that, he woulda probably laughed and taken it as a joke. >.> lol

I would enjoy seeing protective Varric! He kind of had one with Fenris, but, at least in my playthrough, it quickly turned pretty joking. I think it would be a good opportunity to see a more serious talk of that nature.
