That's interesting... I used to be pretty much a full time lurker, but with the excitement of this new game I wanted to chat with people. 

 

I like this thread because it's slow paced, actually. I could never keep up in the Cullen thread. xP

 

Joke about falling into the depths of Varric's chest... wat. Admittedly, it made me chuckle because it's so silly sounding. lol

The Cullen thread is nice to me when I get there and I chat a bit with them.

Also there are other soon to be mamas (like myself) and mamas on the there so it's nice! I don't know if there are any Mommas here haha.

I've been a fan of Bioware for more than a decade, but I only recently joined the forum.

I avoided it from around 2012-2013 because I heard that it had become rather toxic. Seems like they have cleaned it up quite a bit.

I usually avoid most threads when I feel they're getting too argumentative or people say things I'm uncomfortable with. But I stay here a lot, I visit the Cullen thread, Sera and Morrigan thread the most after the Varric one.

The Solas thread is also lovely...Cole too, never had any problems in the IB one either lol, I think the people that were around and active back when it was at it's most toxic and remember what it was like do their best to keep things calm, it was a nasty place to be then and it drove me away eventually, but it seems to have learned it's lesson now...the BSN in general that is, still has it's moments, but nothing like it used to be.

AHAHAHA. My favorite part of that was Sera. I hope she's just like that. xD

 

I love this thread, the Solas thread, the Sera thread and Iron Bull thread. :3 They all seem pretty chill (except in the Sera thread sometimes things get heated up, either about her being a lesbian or her views on Cole)

 

I lurked around in the ME forums back when ME3 first came out and... eh, I didn't say much because it seemed to be mostly controversy over stuff. :/

 

I did notice that the Cullenites seem like a friendly bunch and many of them parents which is cool, I'm not one myself but it's nice they have a group to talk about such things with each-other aside from the character.

I've gone to the ME3 forums not necessarily at the beginning but only a few months after it came out and would just thought "Nope, Nope...."  just because all the controversy.

 

 

I need to involve myself with friendly people! I like talking about the character in generals of course, thats why I go to the threads and see the fan arts. But having casual conversation as we is nice too. : ) So, talking on the friendlier forums is what I'm about ;P

Haha, that comic is great! Such nice art, too. I hope I can make my Qunari Inquisitor have a silly sense of humor, though.  I would prefer to be laughing heartily at Varric's jokes.

Aye, same here.  The friendship that they are likely going to have is something I really look forward to seeing.

Wow... things were really that bad? Surely if moderation was so poor the other characters were getting hit too, yes? Or did Varric simply have the biggest fandom? Because I can buy that.

I'm not too surprised.  The Cullen fans are the ones that have that sort of hate now, because they are very passionate and there is a lot of them.  I don't think they are so bad, but I have seen some serious hate directed towards Cullen and towards his fan base.

If Varric is a LI, this thread will explode with glee and will probably start getting a hell of a lot more traffic.  Nothing confirmed yet, but it won't be too hard to miss.  Shoot, I wouldn't be surprised if the gaming media picked up on it.
