She was pointing out that the all the remade fan threads haven't had BioWare posts at all yet.  Perhaps that's the reason why they haven't posted?

 

Of course, Cullen was a restarted thread and they were posting before he was confirmed as an adviser or LI...

Yeah, I meant that too. BUT I don't think the other ones (the first Vivienne and Varric one) didn't have a post from bioware either. At least the Varric one didn't I don't remember Viv.

1. I think the "fetish" comments from David Gaider were overblown. I don't have a link to the specific tweets (they're in the Romance thread if you want 'em, best of luck) but the issue was that he called it a fetish because people were asking for "a qunari" or "a dwarf" rather than specific characters whose personalities they liked. I don't agree with that particular stance of his, but it was never about dwarfmance in general. In fact I think he said that Varric almost ended up a romance in DA2.

 

2. People are being idiots about bisexuals again? Awesome, except the opposite of that.

 

3. How often do the devs post in the other threads? Just looking for a frame of reference here.

I don't have a problem with Varric being bi, jeez, whats wrong with people?  One of my best gaming buddies is gay and he totally wants Varric, we could squeal about his chest hair together and it would be glorious!

1. Oh, okay. Though I seem to recall having read somewhere that David was never a big dwarf-romance fan, but that doesn't mean Varric couldn't be a romance. Probably just a personal preference. i'm sure if the devs thought DAI Varric would make a good romance they wouldn't care about race. The fact that Varric almost made it as a DA2 romance does make me optimistic. But of course Varric has changed in DAI so....

One of the reasons they decided not to make him a love interest was because he was so low drama. And now he's unhappy and trapped away from home, and we'll probably be dealing with the Bianca situation. So, we've got good odds.

I wanted to share something that just happened to me.

 

SO, I was playing DA2 Legacy DLC and have warden Bethany in my party. She's such a great Damage dealer and healer, but anyway. I have her tactics set up for her casting haste on Hawke, Fenris, Varric (Are you surprised he's in my party, you shouldn't be ) and herself right when the  battle starts. She's been doing it but I noticed Hawke's haste runs out really quick compared to everyone else. I was getting really annoyed because I thought my game was glitching...

 

Happened to look at Hawke's Shield as a Sword&Shield Warrior ...

 

Magic Resistence + 17% -slow face palm-

 

I was seriously getting frustrated.
