And I'm going to be a rouge on my first playthrough so yeah, a 4 rogue team...it will be glorious

I'm set on doing a female Qunari mage for my first playthrough, but my second shall be a rogue as well. A human female, reserved especially for Sera. <3

 

If Varric ends up being an LI, I'm making a dwarf for him as well, but not sure if I wanna go rogue or warrior on that yet. I love Sigrun, so I might go rogue... warrior is my least favorite class tbh, but I'll make one eventually... maybe for an elf. :3

I usually go warrior for my first play through just because its a pretty basic class.  Not a lot of nuance for me and easier to play.  That way i can conetrate on learing the new quests, etc.

I have so many conflicting ideas of what I want my character to be and what my 'go to crew' is going to be at this point. 

 

I'm pretty much just assuming Varric is going to be my party's mainstay again and going from there. Whatever I feel like at the time, I guess. :S

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't mind him being race gated for dwarves only. Got a lot of love for the cute femqunari/varric art I've seen. But if it's too much of a height problem for animations then hopefully you can at least romance him as an elf or a human too. *sigh* I hope the devs release this magical chart of theirs, I need to know!

I love them too I just enjoy mixing and matching couples ^_^ I doubt any of the pairings I make in Inquisition will be of the same race.

Usually I'd agree with you, but an exception has come up recently.  I think about my male human Inquisitor that I'm basing on Auron from FFX with Dorian....

I like making my couples as different as possible, usually. x3 But if Varric only has eyes for other dwarves, I won't blame him. I'm hoping I can romance IB with my Qunari, if he's romancable anyway. She'll be a mage though so I dunno how he will feel about it. xP heheheh.

:D I have to say , Inquisition probably has the most attractive male companions I've seen in any bioware game. They did good!

I kind of wish that we had a choice to romance someone besides the companions.

 

She was a minor character in Origins, but I really liked Bella. :wub: The members of the Inquisition just seem so ... self-important (with the exception of Varric, of course hehe). Here's hopin that we at least come across her character again. Maybe she made it to Denerim and set up her own tavern.

For me Zevran was adorbs, but now my eyes are on DAI Varric XD

Saaaame. I think it goes back to the fact that when I was a kid my OTP was Kermit and MIss Piggy.  :blink: Not gonna lie, I still ship it. 

 

I'm hoping Varric won't be race gated but if he is I'll have to romance him as a spunky little dwarf. But I just think he'd look so cute with a Qunari girl. Though I think I've already been pretty vocal about my displeasure at the idea of race gating.  :(

It would be really interesting if he ended up an available LI to qunari, I won't hold my breath for it, but if it happened I would definitely play it haha. I'm just thinking of how adorable the height difference could make it. <3 I've seen some fanart of Varric with a qunari inquisitor, so I know more people feel that way too. 

 

I understand the race gating even though it's a bummer. It does open up the ability for more characters to be LI's, and characters with such different builds would be a task to get right during intimate scenes... but yeah. I feel ya. :c
