Kinda off topic but am I the only one hoping to see Aveline again? I mean, I doubt we'll see her in DAI but I'd like at least a mention and her because she was awesome.

And I'm currently playing Mark of the Assassin and when Hawke put her hands in the Wyvern dropping all her disapproval was simply in "Hawke, " before she continued her sentence it made me giggle

Nah, I would love to see Aveline and Donnic again. They felt like the companions who lost the most at the end of DA2, I felt really bad for involving them Hawkes drama.

*shrug* Maybe the others. The way I see it, BioWare has three obvious reasons to racegate. 1) Story. 2) Time/Money. 3) Dueling bodytypes. Thing is, I'm looking at Iron Bull and I'm looking at a female dwarf, and I'm thinking, if they could pull that off (with a lot of effort, but still) I can't think of any combination we have that they couldn't pull off. So I'm leaning toward 1 and 2 being the current reasons. I could be totally wrong, I'm no programmer, but that's how I feel about it right now.

Yes. It sounds like Iron Bull's character was always written as a sleep with anyone character, whereas people like Varric were never written that way. Whatever is going on with the story has already been written. Taking out a line from Iron Bull about size, and keeping the rest of his romance the same is an easy fix. Reworking the whole story reasons for the other characters could take way too much time, and thus becomes about more than just animation.

Vivienne looks like a Qunari made out with a frog and Cassandra IMO looks like a lesbian.

Ironically the best looking party members for both sexes are completely homosexual.  The Zorro look alike Dorian and Sara, whatever Bioware did this on purpose just to raise controversy is another question entirely.
