Went to the thread and read it. Yes, that was some pathetic trolling. 1/10. If you're going to troll, can't you at least put some effort into it?

I don't even know anymore... the Internet, and growing up in the chatroom era kind of let me know how some people out there are just... I would never want to meet them. xD Luckily it's a minority of people who make me feel that way.
ICQ? LOL

Meh, checked their profile and a mod stopped by less than 10 mins ago. They'll be dealt with. ![]()

HOLY CRUD.
Our time zone differences make it sooooooooo hard for me to catch up!
Anyway, catching up on past discussions...
- Mary may be avoiding the thread because she has a history of accidentally spilling the beans out of excitement. Exhibit A: Revealing Brian Bloom.
- I have probably Tweeted her about 5-10 times (lost count) inviting her to say hi to the Varric thread. She has ignored me completely.
- I found this on Tumblr.

IT'S GLORIOUS!!

I think that kind of propaganda might have been a thing at the time. Remember the first Captain America, and they kept splicing him in newsreel footage, despite not wanting to send their only super soldier to do anything useful?
...
...
What is it about this random schmuk that people just start thinking, "Let's give them soldiers and factions to run." It's got something to do with the mark and the ability to close rifts, sure, but as far as I'm aware, not knowing what the origins are and qunari and Dalish and mages not being well-trusted, it's like someone heard Cole can go insivible and decided to elect him president on that alone. Why?
And what's Varric's interest in the inquisition? The goodness of his heart? Boredom?

I still can't figure this out! It can't be boredom, as he seems like he can entertain himself. Maybe has something to do with his business ties? The developers said that you are a leader among leaders, and that each companion is a specialist/leader in their own right...

I think it may be he feels partly responsible for the state the world is in with the Mage-Templar War since:
1) He protected Anders from being captured by Templars.
2) The Red Lyrium Idol that made Meredith insane was from their expedition.

Here you go:
There is a great article Allan has put up in threads before from pbs.org One of the points of the article was that some studies over years showed that boys can take up as much 90% of the classroom time, even in classrooms that have around a 50/50 split. When one of the teachers decided to give both genders equal time, the boys complained that they were being neglected and even the teacher had to overcome his own feelings that he was "neglecting to give male students enough attention."
Even though it was just equal.

I can just picture Cassandra walking while one arm is trailing behind her due to holding Varric by the scruff of his jacket while he is being drug with a sour expression and his arms crossed. ![]()
