That's right, he won't be as loyal to the Inquisitor as he was to Hawke. In DA2, Varric was the only character without a "crisis moment". If Inquisition keeps the "crisis moments" I wonder what Varric's will be...

A bit tougher for me. I'm prone to playing evil and aggressive characters. I could never even complete a single Paragon playthrough of Mass Effect. Varric might end up becoming my Morality Chain.Oh, that'll be easy for me to avoid then.
I almost never play evil/rude characters, but I may have to see that waaaay down the road.

Personally, I hope he gets along with Dorian - even though I can reasonably see where he might not - because I plan on having both of them in my party as often as possible.

Based upon what they said I think he'll get along or at least try to get along with everyone aside from Iron Bull & Cassandra.
I could see him get along very well with Sera. I think he would admire Blackwall's dedication to helping people.

Well, they did say he'd pretty much try to get along with everyone. So I'm guessing not many problems, aside from the two we've spotted. Vivienne, maybe? I could see him poking light fun at her, and her not appreciating it.

Iron Bull--I can see him warming up to, but being pretty cold at first. I could definitely see a solid friendship forming between those two during the course of the game.
Cole--I think he's going to be very cautious of. Dislike, probably not. Trust the kid as far as he could see him? Hell no.
Cass--I don't think he's ever going to entirely like her, but I could see the snarky comments toning down during the game.
Vivi--A mix of fear and respect, but I think he would admire a strong mage that's worked her way to the top.
Blackwall--I think these two are going to hit it off almost immediately and this is another friendship that I hope happens.
Sera--See the above. 
Solas--A mage elf that loves nature. I really can't predict Varric's reaction here; it could go either way. I could see the Fade connection making him uncomfortable.

I'm hoping it won't hurt my friendship with Varric on my playthroughs romancing IB, I really hope... I know he's going to be a bit more sullen this time, but I know he's still a really understanding and kind guy at heart, that doesn't just go away.
Yes, and from what we have seen Varric favors snark all the time, so he should be entertaining no matter what circumstance.

Hmm, Cole is interesting because if he acts all innocent and repentive (spelling?) then Varric might be okay with him. I agree with Natashina about him not trusting Cole, though.

The council doesn't count to me as either alignment as far as I'm concerned. Those guys were a bunch of douchebags, and I've had mixed feelings from the start. So if you want to kill them, be my guest. A freebie, on me.

I usually go paragon but some renegade interrupts are to funny to pass up.Like in ME2 on Mordin's loyalty quest, when you blow up the pipe under the balcony during the speech. Priceless!
I could see Varric warming up to Iron Bull if Iron Bull stops supporting the Qun. Varric had his home and his friends nearly destroyed by Qun zealots.

I'm sure he'll get along with just about everyone else. Varric might enjoy mocking Orlesians, but I think he'd enjoy an Orlesian who can fling the sarcasm right back at him so he and Viv will probably get along. Dorian also sounds flashy and snarky enough to appeal to Varric. Cole would probably appeal to his inner urge to take care of people, in some ways he's kinda like Daisy 2.0. He's of course gonna get along with Sera, crude humor and inappropriate behavior is right up Varric's alley . He and Solas probably won't be best buddies, but they both seem like reasonable people, and I think "It's more complicated than that" is a mantra that would appeal to Varric's ideologies as well, it's a bit similar to one of Varric's most famous quotes (points at sig). I think he'll have a similar relationship with Blackwall as he did with Aveline, Blackwall's the sort of heroic figure to earn Varric's respect, even if he doesn't agree with him.
I think the rachni queen will be the toughest. I always kill her out of spite considering how annoying I found the rachni to fight. You know that part where you set up the purge in the hot labs? I failed that sequence so many times on my first playthrough that by the time I got to her I was so frustrated that I was like "K that's it, everyone dies." Same here. I was always mainly paragon with a bit of renegade sprinkled in, I would say 80/20. Sometimes my trigger finger just itches too badly in certain parts like
