Just out of curiosity (and I really hope I'm not stepping over some line here. If so, I sincerely apologize) but what is exactly the difference between bisexual and pansexual? I've looked up definitions but they still sound like pretty much the same thing to my ignorant self.
A pansexual usually will date not just cisgendered people, but those that are gender-queer, trans*, and other non-binary genders. It's more about the personality than the gender really. Think Anders in that sense.
Edit: Thanks soo much Kath for picking up on that.
Bisexuals typically only date cisgendered people. Cis is that the person's body matches the gender they identify with. For example, I was identified as female at birth, and my identity as a person is female, so I am a ciswoman.
D'aww, that's morbidly sweet. Thank you.
