I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I'm curious! If Varric was a romance option, what kind of character would you romance him with, if you have any specific ideas?

 

A human female rogue if possible. Her backstory is that she's compulsive problem solver, that's why she's an engineer class (artificer) . She likes to know how things work and enjoys figuring people out.  Varric is a fun challenge for her, he lies constantly and he's also closed off. It's starts out like a game . who can out-wit who but she ends up falling for him the more she learns about him.

This is why I love Dwarf/Other romances, their height difference is adorbs

Reading Twilight_Princess's character backstory gives me hope that Varric's romance arc to be quite deeply spoilerific and is the main reason why we have yet to hear from the devs, be it a let down or confirmation.

I'm going for a mad scientist personality too! If I can dress her in a long coat and goggles that would be just perfect.

That "F Yeah Varric" post is THE BEST EVER. 

 

Man, I'm so conflicted... I really really want Solas, but you guys have wanted Varric since DA2. I want you to get him and he's awesome enough that I badly want BOTH as options, but they'd never give us a 5/3 male split. Part of me wants to say, we'll resolve Varric's Bianca issues this game (fix her up with Darryl! ) and get him next game, but I could never hope for you guys to have to wait ANOTHER game for him! Not that he's not worth it, but... I can't take this!
